    Description

    EJM is seeking qualified Cabin Attendant candidates for a Gulfstream 550 aircraft based in Louisville, KY (KSDF). The Cabin Attendant is responsible for passenger welfare, cabin safety, and service. Candidates must be trained and proficient in Abnormal and Emergency procedures, as well as all cabin systems and operations.

    This position is part of a four-pilot account, supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician and two Cabin Attendants, operating under Part 91. The schedule follows a 15 days on, 13 days off rotation, requiring full availability during assigned rotations. Strong preference is given to candidates residing within a four-hour radius of SDF.

    To qualify, candidates must have current training, corporate aviation experience, a proven track record in large cabin aircraft, and a team-oriented approach to service.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Cabin Attendant for Gulfstream 600, you will coordinate preflight activities to ensure the proper maintenance status of emergency equipment, cabin cleanliness, aircraft stocking, and catering orders. You will report to the assigned Pilot in Command for all duties and comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) while ensuring passenger compliance with regulatory requirements. You must maintain proficiency and currency as a Part 91 or Part 91/135 qualified crewmember, conduct emergency and service briefings before each leg, and ensure cabin security before taxiing. Adherence to the General Operations Manual, company policies, and procedures, including the Travel & Entertainment Policy for Crewmembers, is essential. You will provide the highest level of customer service to owners and charter passengers by greeting them, verifying the manifest, preparing meals, attending to their needs, and maintaining an orderly cabin. Ensuring the company’s safety, security, and quality goals are met through compliance with the Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting safety, security, or quality concerns is also a key responsibility. Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs.


    Requirements

    The successful candidate must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of five years of experience. Customer service experience is required, with a preference for candidates with fine dining and culinary meal planning experience. Strong verbal communication skills and a willingness to work irregular and long hours based on flight schedules are essential. Candidates must meet and successfully complete the EJM Cabin Attendant Training Program and be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) usage. Proficiency with all aircraft emergency equipment and knowledge of emergency procedures are required. The role also demands expertise in safe food handling, proper cleaning and laundering of cabin linens and serving ware, and the ability to operate and troubleshoot onboard entertainment systems. Additional responsibilities include purchasing and stocking cabin supplies and catering from bakeries, markets, and restaurants. Preference is given to local candidates with G550 training and experience in a similar aircraft cabin size.
