Air Serbia is seeking a Cabin Crew Brand Ambassador based at Belgrade Airport. This unique role focuses on enhancing the in-flight experience for Chinese-speaking passengers, providing language support and cultural understanding to ensure seamless communication between crew members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Cabin Crew Brand Ambassador, you will communicate with passengers in a foreign language (Chinese and English) and perform simultaneous translation for the needs of the cabin crew and cabin crew leaders during the flight and in the premium lounge. Holding a valid cabin crew license and, when necessary, a license to work on the type of aircraft, you will perform cabin crew duties in accordance with all operational manuals and procedures. If no cabin crew member is assigned to the aircraft during a planned business trip, you will act as a translator and Brand Ambassador, reporting primarily to the Cabin Crew Leader and then to the Aircraft Leader, following all safety and security procedures and respecting the operational hierarchy. You will help resolve issues faced by passengers, crew members, and crew leaders through effective communication, delivering a high level of service by anticipating passenger needs and exceeding their expectations. In the absence of a valid cabin crew license, you will follow all passenger safety and security procedures. You will support communication with ground services in China to ensure smooth flight operations and will keep passengers informed during emergencies, unusual situations, delays, bad weather, and turbulence, as instructed by the cabin crew. Additionally, you will assist with in-flight sales activities through translation and alignment with service standards, participate in marketing initiatives, monitor developments in the Chinese market, and recommend company participation in relevant events such as fairs and workshops.
Requirements
The successful candidate must have a high school diploma (IV), excellent active knowledge of the English and Chinese languages with at least one year of experience in translation work, and completed training for cabin crew as well as for the Airbus 330 aircraft type. The candidate must also be computer literate, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
