Your Role: Creating Meaningful Moments at 30,000 Feet
You will be much more than a flight attendant; you will be a guardian, a host, and a storyteller. Your primary focus is ensuring the highest standards of safety and security while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere onboard. Each flight is an opportunity to connect, care, and excel. Key aspects of your role will include:
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of everyone onboard by expertly executing all safety, first aid, and security procedures.
- Acting as a genuine ambassador of the Cathay Pacific brand, providing personalized and heartfelt service to passengers from all walks of life.
- Anticipating needs and exceeding expectations to create truly memorable inflight experiences.
- Offering care and professionalism to all customers, with special attention to those who may require additional assistance.

What You Bring to Our Cabin?
We are looking for individuals who share our values and bring a blend of professionalism, warmth, and global mindedness. To join our team, you will need:
- To be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid PRC ID card.
- A high school diploma or equivalent as a minimum educational foundation.
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin (Putonghua). Knowledge of an additional language is a valuable asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to connect with people.
- A minimum arm reach of 208 cm while on tiptoe.
- Previous experience in the airline, hospitality, or customer service industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
Important Pre-Employment Requirements
As this is a safety-sensitive role, successful candidates must:
- Pass a comprehensive background check.
- Pass a pre-employment medical assessment to confirm physical fitness.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test.
English Proficiency Exemption
You may be exempt from our English assessment if you hold a valid:
- TOEIC® (Public Test) score of 325 or above in both Reading and Listening, or
- IELTS (Academic) overall Band Score of 6.0 or above.
