    Malaysia Airlines is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Manager, Cabin Crew – In-Flight Services. This position is responsible for overseeing Cabin Crew Operations to ensure seamless performance, compliance with corporate and regulatory standards, and the delivery of exceptional in-flight service. The role involves equipping crew members with the necessary skills and fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence while maintaining operational efficiency in line with company objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Manager Cabin Crew, In-Flight Services, you will uphold safety, security, and regulatory compliance in line with Flight Operations objectives and company standards while applying environmental best practices to support sustainability initiatives. You will ensure efficient Cabin Crew deployment to meet operational demands, including crisis and ad-hoc requirements, collaborating with Workforce Planning and Crew Tracking & Control (CTC) to optimize manpower and maintain operational continuity. Providing absent crew with policy, regulatory, and operational updates to ensure readiness, you will address Flight Time Limitation (FTL), Safety Emergency Procedures (SEP), and irregular operation requirements. Managing crew discipline, performance, and professional development while fostering industrial harmony, you will engage stakeholders to resolve issues, improve operations, and maintain timely responses to Voyage reporting system feedback. Overseeing complaints and compliments on Cabin Crew with professionalism, you will organize events and initiatives to promote crew welfare, harmony, and engagement. Representing In-Flight Services in Safety Review Committee meetings and other forums as required, you will conduct In-Flight Service Observation flights to uphold service standards. Managing operations teams and promoting effective communication channels with the Cabin Crew workforce to maintain harmony and good working relationships, you will oversee departmental budgets to ensure all activities and expenses are within the approved budget with optimum cost management for the department to achieve operational requirements. Additionally, you will perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager Cabin Crew, In-Flight Services.


    Requirements

    The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related field with seven years of experience in the aviation industry, or a diploma in any field with eight years of aviation industry experience. A broad knowledge of cabin crew operations, in-flight service standards, and aviation policies and regulations is essential. Strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and responsibility are required. The candidate should be able to strategize and develop business plans and budgets and possess computer proficiency, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
