    JetBlue Airways is looking for a Supervisor – Inflight Training to join its team in Orlando. This role involves leading a team of JetBlue University (JBU) instructors—both adjunct and full-time—as they deliver Inflight training programs that support the JetBlue experience, meet operational demands, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations. It's an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping the next generation of JetBlue cabin crew.

    Key Responsibilities:

    As a Supervisor – Inflight Training, you will lead and develop a team of adjunct and full-time JetBlue University Inflight instructors, manage initial and continuous education courses including online and classroom offerings, and work collaboratively with other training Supervisors to ensure consistency across programs, processes, and products. You will support and participate in additional Inflight Training initiatives and oversee daily tactical efforts executed by Inflight training instructors to ensure crewmembers receive appropriate training. You will ensure that College of Inflight Training programs are delivered in compliance with regulatory and JetBlue University standards, manage the classroom-related budget, and assist in recruiting, leading, and developing full-time and/or part-time Inflight instructors. A significant part of your role will be to support crewmember development to foster engagement, growth, and goal achievement. Other duties may be assigned as required.


    Requirements

    The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma, three years of training experience, and at least one year of experience leading a team or projects. They must be detail-oriented and possess effective organizational and administrative skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required. The candidate must maintain currency as a JetBlue Inflight crewmember or successfully complete the JetBlue Airways Inflight Training Program, including Initial Training and Annual Continuous Education Programs. Physical requirements include the ability to walk comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward, fit quickly through the over-wing exit, and sit in the Flight Attendant jump seat without modification. The candidate must be able to lift up to fifty pounds from the floor to above the shoulders and reach six feet three inches without shoes. They must be able to prepare and administer oral and written examinations, work varying schedules including reserve duty, weekends, evenings, holidays, and last-minute drafting if needed, and remain composed in a demanding, fast-paced work environment while taking control in unexpected situations. The role requires availability for overnight travel up to 25%, possession of a valid passport with the ability to travel in and out of the United States frequently, the ability to pass a ten-year background check and pre-employment drug test, and legal eligibility to work in the country where the position is located. Authorization to work in the US is required, and this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, one year of prior experience as a Flight Attendant in another Part 121 carrier, five years of experience offering formal training, and two years of experience leading a team or projects. Excellent coaching skills with the ability to motivate and mentor direct reports, the capacity to appropriately manage multiple tasks with accuracy and diplomacy, and the ability to adapt effectively to new processes or requirements while encouraging others are also desired.
