Key Responsibilities:
As a Malaysia Airlines Cabin Crew member, your role is multifaceted, focusing on both passenger well-being and operational integrity. Your key accountabilities will include:
- Consistently delivering excellent and superior in-flight service to meet and exceed customer expectations, ensuring every passenger feels valued and cared for.
- Prioritizing the safety of all customers and meticulously managing cabin operations as stipulated in the Safety Emergency Procedures Manual, guaranteeing a secure environment.
- Maintaining at all times a high level of personal discipline, adhering strictly to the Rules and Regulations for Cabin Crew, reflecting the professionalism of Malaysia Airlines.
- Upholding impeccable grooming standards at all times, as stipulated in the Cabin Crew Grooming Manual, presenting a polished and welcoming image.
- Being fully conversant and knowledgeable with all responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Responsibilities and Duties of Flight Steward/ess, ensuring comprehensive understanding of your role.
- Managing your performance level effectively, aligning with the standards set forth in the Duties of Flight Steward/ess, and continuously striving for improvement.
- Maintaining a strong customer focus in every aspect of service delivery, anticipating needs and providing proactive assistance.
- Being accountable to the In-flight Supervisor and/or Leading Steward/ess on all matters concerning crew discipline, grooming, and performance levels.
- Being responsible to the In-flight Supervisor and Leading Steward/ess for all service matters across First, Business, and Economy Class cabins, ensuring consistent service quality.
- Conforming to all set standards and requirements as stipulated in the Responsibilities and Duties of Flight Steward/ess.
- Submitting all relevant documents where applicable, ensuring administrative compliance.
- Ensuring the safeguarding, proper handling, and secure stowage of all Company equipment under your charge, contributing to operational efficiency and asset protection.
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Possess a minimum of SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) or its equivalent, as recognized by the Malaysian Government, with a Credit in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Age: Be 18 years of age or above.
- Height: Meet the minimum height requirement of 157cm for ladies and 165cm for males.
- Possess good interpersonal and writing skills, enabling clear and effective communication. You must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; bilingual proficiency is preferred.
- Exhibit exemplary qualities, demonstrating punctuality, dependability, and flexibility with scheduling, crucial for the dynamic nature of airline operations.
- Be able to understand and diligently follow cabin crew operations, in-flight service standards, and all relevant aviation policies and regulations, ensuring compliance and safety.
