    Description

As a Flight Attendant with JSX, your focus will be on delivering a simple, seamless, and welcoming experience for every Customer onboard. While safety is always your top priority, your day-to-day role is rooted in creating a friendly atmosphere and handling each journey with care and confidence. From learning cabin systems to understanding emergency procedures, you’ll be equipped with the tools and training to support passengers — especially those who may need extra assistance — with calm professionalism.

    Key Responsibilities:

Each day begins with ensuring the aircraft is fully prepared for boarding. You’ll take the lead in checking that the cabin is clean and well-stocked, and verify that safety equipment — including oxygen masks, life vests, and emergency supplies — is present and in working order. As Customers board, you’ll either perform or confirm safety demonstrations, secure the cabin for takeoff, and coordinate closely with the Captain before departure. Once in the air, your presence will be felt through attentive and thoughtful service. At all times, you’ll remain alert and ready to handle any situation — from routine interactions to in-flight emergencies — with a composed and capable approach.

    Requirements

JSX is looking for individuals who are adaptable in fast-paced settings, dependable in their duties, and committed to making each Customer feel seen, supported, and safe. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, stays organized under pressure, and brings a proactive mindset to every flight. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment and care about making a real difference in how people experience air travel, this could be the right fit for you.

To be considered, you must have a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of customer-facing experience. Fluency in English and strong communication skills are essential. You should also hold a valid passport and driver’s license. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and fall within the required height range of 5’0” to 5’8” (without shoes), due to aircraft constraints. The ability to sit in the jumpseat without modification is required, and visible tattoos or body piercings are not permitted. Prior flight attendant experience is a plus, as is fluency in a second language.

JSX values individuals who are dependable, quick to act, and always thinking one step ahead. You’ll thrive here if you bring energy, ownership, and attention to detail to your daily work, and if you naturally look for ways to improve the Customer experience.

    Benefits and Perks

Join a supportive and tight-knit team where your contributions matter and your voice is heard. No two days are the same, and each flight offers the chance to meet new people and face new challenges. You’ll play a meaningful part in someone’s journey — often making their day with a simple gesture or seamless service.

    Compensation & Benefits:

Flight Attendants at JSX earn $198 per day, a rate determined through industry research and aligned with our compensation approach. Medical benefits are available starting the first of the month after your start date, with plans as low as $110 per month. Dental and vision coverage is fully paid by JSX, and you’ll receive up to $2,100 annually in HSA contributions. Disability coverage — both short-term and long-term — is also fully covered.

Crewmembers enjoy free standby travel on JSX and heavily discounted standby flights with major U.S. and international airlines for themselves and eligible family members. Our 401(k) program includes a 50% match on your first 8%, and our generous PTO policy ensures you have time to rest and recharge.
