About the Role
As an Air Steward with SAS, you’ll play a central role in shaping the inflight experience across our Business, Plus, and Go cabins. Your day may start by organizing premium dining in Business Class, continue with ensuring smooth teamwork among colleagues, and end with guiding passengers safely through their journey. Whether flying across Europe or on our long-haul routes to New York, Tokyo, or beyond, you’ll bring professionalism, warmth, and an eye for detail to every flight.
What You’ll Do?
- Deliver excellent service with a strong focus on food and beverage, inspired by Scandinavian traditions
- Guide and brief colleagues, ensuring smooth workflow and high safety standards onboard
- Provide passengers with a professional, friendly, and attentive service that reflects SAS’ values
- Contribute to both safety and service excellence in all cabin classes
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in hospitality or customer-facing roles
- Background in culinary arts, food & beverage service, or related training is a plus
- Previous cabin crew experience is strongly valued
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Fluent in English (minimum Berlitz B2 level)
- Height between 160–190 cm (without shoes)
- Strong swimming ability
- Ability to comply with SAS uniform policy (visible tattoos and piercings are restricted — details provided during recruitment)
- Valid EU passport with worldwide travel eligibility
- Permanent right to live and work in Denmark
- Korean speakers living in Copenhagen are especially encouraged to apply
Security & Medical Standards
This position requires a full background/security check, successful completion of all required training, and compliance with EASA medical standards for cabin crew. You must pass medical exams, vision requirements (+/- 0.7 with or without correction), and alcohol/drug screening prior to training.
