More Than a Uniform: Join Norwegian Air's Cabin Crew in Oslo!
At Norwegian, we believe that what's behind the uniform matters more than the uniform itself. One moment you're comforting a nervous traveler. The next, you're entertaining a restless child, serving a hot meal, or calmly handling an unexpected situation. Our cabin crew members are nurses, psychologists, nannies, chefs, and security guards—all wrapped into one caring, capable person.
If you're ready for a role that asks a lot but gives back even more, we'd love to welcome you to our Oslo base.
What You Should Know Before You Apply?
Let's be honest—this job is not for everyone. You'll face long days, shift work, weekends away from family, and public holidays spent at 35,000 feet. You'll handle situations you never anticipated. But if you're the kind of person who stays calm when things get bumpy, leads with kindness, and keeps passengers at the center of everything you do, you'll find deep meaning in this work.
Whether you're brand new to aviation or have years of experience, we'll prepare you through comprehensive training that leads to official certification. You'll join our close-knit family of 2,500 cabin crew members who are ready to welcome you to life above the clouds.
You'll Love This Role If:
- You genuinely thrive in fast-paced, ever-changing environments
- Connecting with people and delivering outstanding service brings you energy
- You stay composed under pressure and can think on your feet when things don't go as planned
- You embrace teamwork and bring positivity into every interaction
- The adventure of travel and new experiences genuinely excites you
- You're willing to work a rotating 24/7 schedule that includes early mornings, late nights, weekends, public holidays, and peak travel periods
You're an Ideal Candidate If:
- You have a clean criminal record
- You hold a Cabin Crew Attestation (CCA)—preferred but not required
- You have a valid medical certificate or can obtain one
- You currently live within 90 minutes of Oslo base, or you're willing to relocate to meet this requirement
- You hold a valid work permit for Norway
- You can pass a drug and alcohol test prior to hiring
- You are over 20 years old
- You stand at least 160 cm tall, or can reach 210 cm on tiptoes
- You know how to swim
- You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
- You have no tattoos on your face or neck. Any tattoos on your hands or behind your ear must not exceed 1.5 cm in size
- You have preferably completed upper secondary school (academic or vocational). Relevant service industry experience may compensate for formal education in some cases
It's a Strong Plus If You Speak a Scandinavian Language
While not mandatory, fluency in a Scandinavian language will make you stand out and help you connect even more naturally with our passengers.
If You're Selected, You'll Need to Obtain:
- An approved medical certificate, including intoxication and alcohol testing
- An approved background check to receive your admission card
- Successful completion of our full training course
