About the Role
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in preparing and packaging inflight catering orders for our private and corporate aviation clients. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting kitchen operations, assisting with deliveries and food prep, and ensuring every order meets Pentastar’s high standards for presentation, accuracy, and freshness.
What You’ll Do?
- Assist with food prep, shopping, and deliveries to keep the kitchen running smoothly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization according to daily checklists and sanitation standards
- Stock supplies, manage inventory, and ensure all kitchen areas are ready for daily operations
- Pull and manage catering orders from internal systems such as NetJets, FOS, and ASN databases
- Work closely with the kitchen supervisor or culinarian to assemble and package daily orders
- Answer phone calls professionally and assist clients with catering requests or basic order details
- Process invoices and maintain accurate records for both internal and external customers
- Help with lunch service or customer counter duties when needed
What Makes You a Great Fit?

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is a plus
Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on role that involves regular movement throughout the day. You should be comfortable standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods, and able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
