    Your career with American Airlines starts with an intensive six-week training program designed to prepare you for life in the skies. You’ll learn everything from safety procedures and service excellence to cross-cultural communication and emergency readiness. Once certified, you’ll proudly wear the uniform that symbolizes trust, leadership, and world-class service.

    Languages currently sought: Dutch, Italian, Greek, Hungarian, Hebrew, and Czech – all paired with fluent English.

    Base locations include: Dallas/Fort Worth (TX), Boston (MA), Charlotte (NC), Chicago (IL), Los Angeles (CA), Miami (FL), New York City (LGA – NY), Philadelphia (PA), Phoenix (AZ), and Washington D.C. (Reagan National)

    What You’ll Do?

    Every day will bring new challenges and experiences. As a Flight Attendant, you will:


    • Ensure the safety and comfort of every customer, following FAA regulations and company standards.
    • Respond with calm leadership during both routine and unexpected situations.
    • Deliver warm, attentive customer service on every flight, serving meals, beverages, and onboard products with professionalism.
    • Maintain the highest level of appearance and conduct, proudly representing the American Airlines brand.
    • Support passengers with diverse needs — from families and frequent flyers to those traveling internationally for the first time.
    • Adapt to varying schedules, time zones, and environments with professionalism and positivity.
    • Work closely with your flight crew to ensure smooth operations and memorable travel experiences for all.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed?

    Minimum Requirements

    • At least 20 years of age
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Two years of customer service experience (hospitality, retail, food service, aviation, education, or related fields)
    • Height and weight proportionate to safely perform all required duties (including sitting in a jump seat and operating emergency exits)
    • Valid U.S. or foreign passport (with appropriate visas valid through at least December 31, 2026)
    • Legal authorization to work and travel freely within the United States and all destinations served by American Airlines
    • Willingness to relocate to one of the designated base cities
    • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required
    • Commitment to upholding American Airlines’ grooming and appearance standards (no visible tattoos, no facial piercings, one earring per ear)
