At K5-Aviation, we specialize in operating a premier fleet of VIP long-haul aircraft, including Airbus A319s, an A330, and the state-of-the-art Global 7500. As our fleet and global operations continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and visionary Head of Cabin to join our team at our headquarters in Moosburg an der Isar. This is a key leadership role for someone passionate about elevating luxury air travel, developing exceptional talent, and shaping the highest standards of service and safety.
Your Mission: To Inspire, Lead, and Perfect Our Cabin Experience
In this central role, you will be the driving force behind our cabin crew department. Your primary focus will be to lead, mentor, and support our cabin crew members, ensuring they are motivated, expertly trained, and empowered to deliver the impeccable, discreet service our VIP clients expect. You will be the crucial link between operational excellence on board and strategic development on the ground, refining our processes to set new benchmarks in corporate aviation.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Providing inspirational leadership and assuming full responsibility for our cabin crew team.
- Ensuring unwavering compliance with all legal regulations (Luftfahrtbundesamt) and internal company standards.
- Continuously developing the team's skills through targeted training programs, with a special emphasis on luxury service, wine, and fine dining.
- Designing and implementing new, tailored work processes and comprehensive cabin manuals.
- Establishing robust quality management and internal communication systems within the department.
- Fostering seamless collaboration with internal partners such as Crew Control, Training, Sales, and Dispatch.
- Supporting procurement and contract negotiations with external service providers, including training partners.
- Acting as a key point of contact for relevant authorities, including airports and the Federal Aviation Office (LBA).
- Managing essential administrative tasks to ensure smooth departmental operations.
The Profile We Are Looking For
You are a natural leader with a deep understanding of premium service and aviation operations. We are looking for a proactive professional whose expertise will strengthen our close-knit team.
Your background ideally includes:
- A degree in Business Administration, Air Transport Management, or a related field. Additional qualifications in personnel management or hospitality are a significant advantage.
- Proven experience in an airline operational environment, or substantial management experience in human resources or project management.
- A solid background in VIP or luxury guest services.
- Outstanding organizational and coordination skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Full professional fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
