Nexus Airlines Is Recruiting a Cabin Crew Manager in Perth!

Nexus Airlines is entering an exciting phase of growth, and we're looking for a skilled Cabin Crew Manager who's ready to take on a leadership role within one of Western Australia's newest and most ambitious regional carriers. If you're passionate about aviation, experienced in managing inflight teams, and eager to be part of a company shaping the future of regional travel, this is a rare chance to join a fast-rising airline at a pivotal moment.

As a proudly regional operator, Nexus Airlines has been connecting communities across Western Australia and the Northern Territory since its launch in July 2023. With a fleet of Dash 8 Q400 NextGen aircraft and a commitment to reliability, safety, and genuine regional accessibility, Nexus continues to expand its footprint while remaining deeply connected to the people and landscapes we serve.

    About the Opportunity

The Cabin Crew Manager will play a central role in guiding, supporting, and developing our inflight teams during a period of rapid growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Flying Operations, you'll oversee the daily performance of the cabin crew department, ensure operational readiness, and uphold the high standards of safety and service our passengers expect. This position also involves shaping future recruitment strategies, refining training programs, and maintaining a positive and professional culture within the team.

You'll be a key voice in decisions that influence the overall passenger experience and the strategic direction of inflight operations, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys both hands-on leadership and long-term planning.

    What You'll Be Responsible For?

In this role, you'll manage the day-to-day functioning of the cabin crew department, ensuring smooth communication between teams and supporting a consistently high level of inflight service. You'll contribute to the development of operational strategies that reflect Nexus Airlines' continued growth, assess staffing needs as routes expand, and lead recruitment initiatives to bring new talent into the airline.

You will also maintain and enhance cabin crew procedures to improve efficiency and safety, work closely with external partners and unions, and manage performance reviews or disciplinary matters with fairness and professionalism. Part of the role includes championing our strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, awards, and duty-of-care obligations—including areas such as Workers' Compensation and workplace wellbeing.

    Who We're Hoping to Meet?

Nexus Airlines is looking for a forward-thinking aviation professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should bring experience in operational leadership within the aviation sector—ideally in a regional or fast-growing airline—along with the confidence to make informed decisions and guide a diverse team.

A background in performance management, an understanding of relevant aviation regulations (including Part 121), and excellent communication skills are important for success in this position. If you have experience in cabin crew training or hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, this will be viewed favorably, but it's not essential. Above all, we're searching for a positive, solutions-focused leader who enjoys nurturing teamwork and promoting a strong service ethic.

What You'll Gain by Joining Nexus Airlines?

Nexus offers a competitive salary package along with opportunities for both personal and professional development as the airline continues to grow. You'll work within a supportive and collaborative environment that values regional inclusivity and long-term career progression. Employees also enjoy additional benefits such as salary sacrifice arrangements and remote area housing allowances for those based in Broome.
