Clay Lacy Aviation, a cornerstone of West Coast private aviation for over 50 years, is seeking an exceptional Cabin Attendant to join the dedicated crew of a Gulfstream G700. Based at Van Nuys Airport (KVNY), this is a rare and prestigious opportunity for a true hospitality professional to deliver a bespoke, seamless experience for our discerning clientele. If your expertise is matched by your dedication to discretion, anticipation, and flawless execution, we invite you to apply.

The Role: Steward of an Unrivaled Experience

This is a full-time, resident position central to our Part 91 & 135 operations, flying approximately 300 hours annually. You will be the sole architect of the cabin environment, entrusted with translating the owner's exact preferences into an effortless and legendary journey. Your role extends far beyond the flight; it encompasses the meticulous care, provisioning, and presentation of the aircraft itself. We require candidates to reside within a two-hour drive of KVNY, as this position demands immediate availability and a deep, personal commitment to the aircraft and its owners.

A Day in Your Role: Precision, Preparation, and Personalization

Your mission is to ensure that every detail, from safety to service, reflects the Clay Lacy standard of excellence. Your core responsibilities will include:

    • Mastering and anticipating the owner's specific preferences, dietary needs, and special requests to create a profoundly personalized experience.
    • Managing all aspects of cabin operations, from strict safety compliance and immaculate presentation to the sourcing, stocking, and rotation of premium supplies.
    • Conducting detailed inventory management, maintaining accurate profiles, and ensuring the aircraft is impeccably prepared and provisioned before every departure.
    • Proactively maintaining the cabin's condition, identifying any wear and coordinating necessary upkeep with the flight crew and management.
    • Handling all logistics for aircraft provisioning, including shopping for specific items and managing inventory during maintenance periods.
    • Maintaining absolute flexibility to adapt to the dynamic flight schedule, including readiness for travel with prolonged overnight stays domestically and internationally.
    • Serving as a brand ambassador, preparing the aircraft for client showings and representing Clay Lacy's values in every interaction.

The Candidate We Seek: A Paragon of Professionalism

We are looking for more than experience; we seek a mindset. The ideal candidate operates with intuitive foresight and unwavering integrity.

    Required Qualifications & Proficiencies:

    • A minimum of 3 years of large-cabin private/corporate jet experience under Part 91 and/or 135 regulations.
    • Residence within a 2-hour drivable commute of Van Nuys Airport (KVNY).
    • Valid, unexpired driver's license, passport, and Food Handler Certification.
    • Current emergency training certificate (CPR/First Aid) from an approved facility.
    • Availability for a flexible, on-call schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
    • The physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, safely handle aircraft items, and work in varying conditions.

    Your Core Competencies:

    • Anticipatory Service: You create customer-centric solutions before a need is expressed.
    • Ownership & Accountability: You take initiative, solve problems proactively, and hold yourself to the highest standards of responsibility.
    • Collaborative Excellence: You build trust with flight crews, management, and vendors to meet shared objectives seamlessly.
    • Adaptive Grace: You make sound, timely decisions under pressure and adapt with urgency and poise to changing schedules.
