Legendary Service Starts With You – Cabin Attendant, Falcon 900 EASy | Van Nuys, CA!

Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute to Van Nuys base.

Clay Lacy Aviation is searching for an experienced, detail-obsessed Cabin Attendant to join our team full-time, operating a stunning Falcon 900 EASy based in Van Nuys, California. This is a Part 91 and 135 operation, flying approximately 300 hours annually, and we need someone who understands that true excellence in private aviation isn't just about service—it's about safety, anticipation, and creating a seamless experience that feels effortless to the client.

If you take genuine pride in knowing exactly how an owner takes their coffee, which pillows they prefer, and where every single item belongs in the cabin, this role was made for you.

    What You'll Be Doing?

As the sole manager of the cabin, you'll oversee everything from inventory and catering to passenger comfort and safety compliance. Your day-to-day will include:

    • Learning and maintaining detailed knowledge of the owner's food preferences, allergies, needs, and personal requests—down to the smallest detail
    • Regularly updating passenger profiles and keeping precise aircraft inventory records
    • Organizing and maintaining owner lockers, cages, and office spaces, ensuring all bedding, cabin supplies, and equipment are accounted for and well-maintained
    • Conducting routine inventory checks to guarantee quality, consistency, and readiness before every single flight
    • Sourcing, shopping for, and stocking the aircraft with the owner's preferred items, rotating supplies and replacing as needed
    • Preparing the aircraft with necessary amenities, catering, and special requests—ensuring the cabin is spotless and everything is current and in its place
    • Proactively spotting issues related to cabin wear and tear, and coordinating with the Pilot in Command or appropriate department
    • Safely offloading and on-loading aircraft items during regular maintenance events
    • Setting up the aircraft for showings to potential charter clients, presenting it at the highest possible standard
    • Maintaining a flexible schedule that adapts to the owner's needs, including last-minute changes
    • Staying in continuous communication with In-Flight Services management to ensure smooth operations
    • Traveling domestically and internationally, with prolonged overnight stays as required

What You Bring to the Table?

This isn't an entry-level position. We need someone who already knows the world of large-cabin private aviation.

    Required experience and qualifications:

    • 3+ years of Part 91 and/or Part 135 large-cabin private or corporate jet experience
    • A valid driver's license
    • A valid Food Handler Certification (and commitment to maintaining it)
    • A valid passport
    • Emergency training certificate from an approved facility completed within the past 12 months, including CPR and First Aid
    • Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening
    • Willingness to complete Clay Lacy Indoctrination training
    • Availability to work flexible hours, weekends, holidays, and be on-call unless scheduled off

The Qualities That Set You Apart

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Creates strong customer relationships and delivers genuinely customer-centric solutions
    • Takes on new challenges with urgency, energy, and enthusiasm
    • Works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
    • Communicates clearly and adapts to different audiences with ease
    • Gains trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
    • Makes good, timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
    • Holds themselves and others accountable
    • Is results-driven and consistently achieves objectives
    • Uses feedback and self-reflection to grow and improve

    Essential Job Requirements

Before you apply, please know that you'll need to:

    • Maintain regular, punctual attendance
    • Stand and walk for extended periods
    • Work comfortably without direct supervision
    • Be comfortable working day, night, and in all weather conditions
    • Reason, analyze, and solve problems on the fly
    • Prioritize and multitask in a distracting environment
    • Follow oral and written directions while planning and completing assigned duties on schedule
    • Keep schedules flexible—changes happen often in this industry
