Your Role: Creating Connections at 30,000 Feet
As the face of Nexus Airlines in the air, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every passenger feels safe, valued, and well cared for. You'll work as part of a dedicated small team, balancing critical safety responsibilities with warm, attentive service. From pre-flight preparations to post-flight goodbyes, you'll help craft an in-flight experience that passengers remember for all the right reasons.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Proactively managing cabin safety, performing pre-flight checks, and confidently leading emergency procedures if required.
- Building a positive, supportive, and professional rapport with your fellow crew members to create a seamless onboard environment.
- Delivering attentive and personalised customer service that makes each passenger's journey comfortable and enjoyable.
- Maintaining clear, calm, and effective communication with both the flight deck and your cabin team throughout every flight.
- Providing thoughtful assistance to guests with diverse needs, including those who may require extra help or cultural consideration.
- Upholding the highest standards of personal presentation, professional conduct, and a positive, can-do attitude at all times.
What You Bring to Our Crew?

To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Possess exceptional written and spoken English skills (Language Proficiency Level 6 or equivalent).
- Hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate (including CPR) with at least 12 months validity.
- Maintain impeccable personal grooming and presentation.
- Be able to swim 50 metres unaided while fully clothed and tread water for 3 minutes.
- Meet the height requirement of 163cm to 183cm.
- Successfully complete a comprehensive pre-employment health assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Hold a current driver's licence and have the ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Hold a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months' validity.
- Be an Australian citizen/permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen.
