What You'll Be Doing?
This role offers a rewarding blend of line flying and ground-based leadership. You'll stay connected to the cabin while taking on responsibilities that help drive operational excellence. Flexibility is key—your hours may vary to support training, rostering, and operational needs.
Leading and Supporting the Team:
- Mentor and support Cabin Crew members, helping them grow and thrive in their roles.
- Assist with recruitment, induction, and ongoing development activities.
- Foster a positive, collaborative team environment that reflects Airnorth's values.
- Participate in performance discussions and support crew members' professional growth.
Keeping Operations Running Smoothly:
- Monitor cabin crew performance during line operations, offering constructive feedback to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure all operations are conducted safely, securely, and in full compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with Network Operations on roster changes and address operational issues as they arise.
- Support the maintenance of professional uniform and grooming standards across the team.
Elevating the Passenger Experience:
- Contribute to the development and refinement of inflight service standards and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, service efficiency, and operational performance.
- Work closely with catering and service providers to resolve product or service challenges.
Managing Compliance and Administration:
- Stay current with regulatory and industrial requirements affecting cabin crew operations.
- Assist in developing policies, manuals, and operational procedures.
- Handle cabin crew administration tasks including records management, travel arrangements, payroll support, purchase orders, and reporting.
- Contribute to risk management, safety initiatives, and operational reporting.
What We're Looking For?
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew.
- Background in customer service and/or airline operations.
- Experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a team.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine ability to motivate and support people in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), along with operational cabin crew requirements including RSA, First Aid, and a valid Passport.
Desirable:
- Experience contributing to policies, procedures, or operational documentation.
- Familiarity with performance management frameworks and operational KPIs.
- Ability to obtain CASA CAO 20.11 Instructor and Certification approval.
