Airnorth is seeking an experienced and passionate aviation professional to join our Flight Operations Training & Checking team as a Cabin Crew Training Supervisor, based in the vibrant city of Darwin. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cabin Crew Trainer, In-Flight Trainer, Checker, or Cabin Crew Leader who is ready to elevate their career and make a meaningful impact on the culture, standards, and performance of our Cabin Crew team.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our training operations—developing, delivering, and maintaining both safety and service programs that ensure our crew continue to deliver safe, compliant, and exceptional customer experiences across the Airnorth network. Working closely with operational leaders, you'll help shape the future of our cabin crew team and play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
About the Role
As our Cabin Crew Training Supervisor, your responsibilities will be varied, rewarding, and central to our operations. You will:
- Deliver recurrent and non-recurrent Cabin Crew training programs
- Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and courseware
- Lead and support Cabin Crew Trainers and Check Cabin Crew members
- Maintain training records, systems, and compliance documentation
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure training standards are consistently met
- Support recruitment, performance management, and employee development activities
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing support to Cabin Crew employees
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, service delivery, and operational performance
- Promote Airnorth's strong safety culture and commitment to Target Zero
About You
We're looking for someone who brings both experience and passion to this leadership role. To be successful, you'll need:
Essential Experience & Skills
- Previous experience as Cabin Crew, In-Flight Trainer, Checker, or in a similar aviation training role
- Experience within airline operations and customer service environments
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Training, coaching, human factors, or adult learning experience
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities
- Experience developing procedures, training materials, and operational documentation
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- The ability to motivate, coach, and develop others
Ability to Obtain and Maintain:
- Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Operational cabin crew requirements (RSA, First Aid, Passport)
- CASA Emergency Procedures Trainer and Assessor approval
