Your Career in the Skies Starts Here – Cabin Attendant with Transavia!
Join an Airline Where People Genuinely Support One Another
Do you dream of a career as a Cabin Attendant? Are you passionate about hospitality and would you like to work for an airline where people genuinely support one another? Then Transavia would love to have you on board! From your designated base—Amsterdam, Eindhoven, or Rotterdam—you'll work with your colleagues to provide passengers with an unforgettable and safe journey.
At Transavia, we believe that great service starts with great people. If you're enthusiastic, service-oriented, and ready to take on a dynamic role that offers variety, challenge, and reward, this is your opportunity to join one of Europe's most beloved airlines.
What Will You Do?
On board, you and your crew are responsible for ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming flight. You greet passengers with a smile, continuously monitor flight safety, and remain calm when unexpected situations arise. But this role goes far beyond service and safety—you'll be part of a close-knit team where a proactive attitude is essential.
You'll also play a crucial commercial role by selling food, beverages, and retail products on board, contributing to the success of each flight.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Being visibly present in the cabin, anticipating and proactively responding to passengers' needs
- Independently and decisively resolving issues on board
- Actively and enthusiastically engaging with passengers to identify and maximize commercial opportunities
- Adapting to different cultures, situations, and types of travelers
Training: Your Journey Begins Here
Before starting work as a full-time Cabin Attendant, you'll complete a comprehensive training course with Transavia. The training lasts 22 days, for which you'll receive an allowance of €36.50 per day. During the training, you'll learn all aspects of the role and obtain the required certificates.
The mandatory Introduction Day takes place before the start of the training. This is an opportunity to meet your future colleagues and get to know Transavia.
Where Will You Be Based?
You'll be based at one of three dynamic locations:
- Amsterdam (AMS)
- Eindhoven (EIN)
- Rotterdam (RTM)
The cabin is your dynamic workplace. No two weeks are the same—one day your alarm may go off at 3 a.m., while another day you may not get home until the middle of the night. Your schedule varies, and you'll operate an average of 4 to 5 flights per week, working with a different crew each time.
You'll fly to various destinations across Europe and North Africa. During the winter season (October to March), you'll also operate routes such as Hurghada and Cape Verde, sometimes including an overnight stay at the destination.

To join our Cabin Attendant team, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Minimum MBO-4 or HAVO diploma
- Minimum age of 18
- Height between 1.58 m and 1.90 m (strictly required due to onboard safety protocols)
- Able to reach your designated base within one hour after a standby call using public transportation or your own vehicle
- Fluent in Dutch and English (a third language is an advantage)
- Must have been continuously registered in a Dutch municipality for at least 8 years (required for the mandatory Schiphol pass/security screening)
- Able to swim at least 100 meters while fully clothed and successfully complete the wet drill (water survival training)
