What You'll Be Doing?
As a Flight Attendant, you'll be responsible for maintaining cabin safety, conducting safety demonstrations, responding to in-flight emergencies, and providing clear and professional communication to passengers and crew members. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing duties in the aircraft environment in compliance with all FAA regulations and company policies
- Placing safety and passenger comfort as the top priorities on every flight
- Delivering exemplary customer service that meets and exceeds passenger expectations
- Assisting with lifting and stowing luggage into overhead bins or other storage areas; requesting assistance as needed
- Providing attentive assistance to passengers requiring additional support, including unaccompanied minors, elderly travelers, and individuals with disabilities
- Preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic)
- Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times—you represent Contour Airlines
- Responding effectively in emergency situations by implementing flight deck instructions and safety procedures, guiding passengers during evacuations (verbally or non-verbally), and providing emergency medical assistance, including CPR and first aid
- Ensuring all passengers and the aircraft remain in compliance with safety, security, and operational standards
- Conducting safety demonstrations, public announcements, and passenger instructions clearly and professionally
- Completing required reports, paperwork, and documentation related to incidents, safety, or service
- Retrieving and storing items in overhead bins (up to 67 inches from the floor)
- Operating and securing aircraft doors weighing up to 60 lbs
- Pushing and pulling food and beverage carts requiring up to 32 lbs of force
- Performing tasks requiring frequent walking, bending, reaching above shoulder height, and lifting up to 75 lbs with or without accommodation
- Operating all galley/cabin service equipment and in-flight entertainment systems independently
- Maintaining the cleanliness and orderly appearance of the cabin, galley, and lavatories
- Following all safety-conscious behaviors in daily operations
- Performing additional duties as assigned by leadership or the Pilot-in-Command
Qualifications We're Looking For
To join our team, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- Minimum age: 23 years
- Education: High school diploma or GED required
- Licenses: Valid driver's license, good driving record, and valid passport
- Authorization: Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the country
- Language: Fluent in English (bilingual skills preferred but not required)
Must pass
- DOT pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random testing
- 10-year background check, criminal history review, fingerprinting, and reference checks
- Successful completion of Contour's four-week Flight Attendant Initial Training Program
Additional requirements
- Ability to work variable schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and duty periods up to 16 hours
- Must live within one (1) hour of assigned domicile (DFW)
- Able to lift 75 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Proven ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle interruptions and adapt to changing situations
- Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills delivered with tact and professionalism
- Ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to working in a safe, professional manner in compliance with all regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, state, and federal)

Compensation Details
- Starting annual salary: $34,000.00
- Maximum salary: $42,500.00 with annual increases
- Retention bonus: Up to $2,000.00 per year once maximum salary is reached
