As a Cabin Attendant with Jet Aviation, you'll be responsible for ensuring the comfort and convenience of passengers on board each flight, managing every aspect of the cabin experience—from meticulous catering and interior presentation to safety briefings and emergency preparedness. You'll work alongside a dedicated flight crew, ensuring that every journey exceeds expectations and reflects Jet Aviation's commitment to excellence.
Your Responsibilities: Every Detail Matters
You'll receive guidance from the Pilot in Command (PIC) for day-to-day operations while taking ownership of the cabin experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reporting all cabin discrepancies and maintenance issues to the pilot in command for proper documentation
- Coordinating with pilots, maintenance, and cleaning crews to ensure the aircraft is impeccably clean and properly serviced
- Conducting a preflight check of all cabin equipment prior to each flight
- On Part 91 flights (where applicable):
- Ensuring passengers comply with federal regulations during flight activity
- Briefing passengers on the safety features of the aircraft
- Assisting and commanding the cabin in the event of an aircraft emergency, medical emergency, or aircraft evacuation
- Operating all emergency equipment including fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen equipment, and automatic external defibrillators (AED)
- Briefing and assisting passengers with cabin management systems such as entertainment, high-speed data systems, and phone capabilities
- Assisting passengers with carry-on luggage and seating, including passengers with disabilities and children who require restraint systems
- Maintaining a complete and detailed working knowledge of all service equipment and procedures on your assigned aircraft
- Maintaining the neatness and orderliness of the cabin at all times
- Maintaining bedding and locker areas on the assigned aircraft
- Coordinating and shopping for interior items per the owner's request
- Planning and printing menus and weather cards for each flight
- Planning, ordering, shopping, preparing, and serving all meals and beverages to the highest culinary standards
- Developing and maintaining standard stock and sourcing vendors for aircraft cabin, lavatory, and galley
- Ensuring the aircraft is prepared to specifications prior to each flight
- Providing client profile updates, post-trip reports, catering reports, and maintaining other required paperwork
- Creating and maintaining aircraft-specific manuals on the assigned aircraft
- Managing expense accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
- Attending and maintaining currency in all aspects of required training, annual recurrent safety, medical, and company Indoctrination training
- Supervising or training contract or part-time cabin crew members as needed
- Representing Jet Aviation as one company internally and externally with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma required
- 4 years of work experience in a similar role; 2 years of culinary and/or high-end food service experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- Flight Safety International or equivalent Corporate Cabin Attendant recurrent training
- MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR/AED equivalent
Desired Characteristics
- College degree preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Strong understanding of the aviation industry
- Interest and ability in supervising or training others (e.g., contract flight attendants)
- Strong project management experience

Work Environment
The work environment is dynamic and varied, requiring adaptability and professionalism at all times.
- Ability to work in both a heavy maintenance environment and in upscale customer areas
- Noise level is usually moderate, with occasional high volume when aircraft arrive/depart
- Frequent exposure to vibration
- Occasional fuel fumes may permeate the workplace
- Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
- Hangar environment may be extreme hot and cold during certain seasons
