Lead the Cabin Experience: Senior Cabin Crew Member with Marabu Airlines!
Marabu Airlines is redefining what leisure travel looks like in Germany, and we're looking for experienced Senior Cabin Crew Members to join our growing team. Operating a modern fleet of Airbus A320 NEO aircraft from our hubs in Hamburg, Nuremberg, and Leipzig, we are committed to delivering service that feels warm, professional, and genuinely caring. If you're currently flying as a Senior Cabin Crew Member on the A320 and are ready to take on real leadership responsibility, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day?
This is not just a promotion in title—it's a role where your experience directly shapes the onboard experience for both passengers and your fellow crew members.
- Leading the team inflight: You'll guide and support your cabin crew colleagues to ensure every flight runs smoothly, calmly, and efficiently.
- Mentoring and developing others: Part of your role is helping fellow crew members grow their skills and confidence, contributing to a stronger team overall.
- Setting the standard for service: You'll be the example our passengers remember—warm, attentive, and always focused on their comfort.
- Owning safety and compliance: From thorough pre-flight checks to managing emergency procedures, safety is always your first priority.
- Driving onboard sales and promotions: You'll help boost inflight sales in a natural, guest-friendly way while supporting promotional activities.
- Being the communication bridge: You'll serve as the key link between flight crew and cabin crew, handling reports and documenting any incidents professionally.
What You Bring to the Role?
We're looking for someone who is already doing this work at a senior level. Here are the must-haves:
- Age and height: At least 18 years old, with a minimum height of 158 cm.
- Education: Secondary school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification: A valid EASA Cabin Crew Attestation.
- Right to work: You must have the legal right to live and work in Germany and the EU.
- Language skills: Fluent English (written and spoken). German language proficiency at any level is welcome, though we encourage a willingness to improve over time.
- Medical fitness: A valid aeronautical medical certificate and the ability to swim unassisted.
- Current experience: You are currently flying as a Senior Cabin Crew Member with at least 12 months of experience on Airbus aircraft.
- Proof of rank: This is mandatory—please provide official SCCM rank documentation from your current employer's HR department, along with a block hours confirmation letter.
- Personal qualities: Strong leadership and communication skills, sound judgment, reliability, and a professional demeanor.
- Background check: A clean criminal record is required.
- Commute: You must be able to reach your home base airport (Hamburg, Nuremberg, or Leipzig) within 60 minutes at any time.
What We Offer You?
We believe in taking care of our people so you can focus on taking care of our guests.
- Career growth: A clear path to advancement into Instructor or Line Evaluator roles for those who want to keep developing.
- Generous time off: 35 days of paid vacation per year, including a day off during your birthday month—because you deserve to celebrate.
- Travel perks: Staff-discounted airfares through MyID travel, plus exclusive Marabu flight benefits.
- A team that feels like a team: A diverse, supportive, and genuinely friendly work culture.
- Paid training from day one: We cover your training costs, and you'll receive your salary starting from day one.
- Uniform and shoe allowance: Your first uniform set is provided at no cost, plus an allowance for uniform shoes.
One Important Note Before You Apply
Please apply for only one of our cabin crew job postings. Submitting multiple applications will not improve your chances. If you're open to more than one base location, simply indicate your preference in your cover letter.
