Elevate Private Aviation Service: Global XRS Flight Attendant – Austin, TX!

Solairus Aviation is seeking an experienced, polished, and culinary-driven Flight Attendant to join a premier aircraft operation based at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (KAUS). This is not a standard cabin role—it's a position for a true hospitality professional who views every flight as an opportunity to deliver unforgettable, personalized service. If you have a passion for exceptional food, thrive in a fast-moving environment, and are ready to support a discerning clientele around the clock, we want to hear from you.

    What You'll Be Doing?

As the sole flight attendant on board a Global XRS, you are the architect of the passenger experience. From the moment guests step onto the aircraft to the time they depart, your professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail will define their journey. You'll work closely with pilots and ground teams, manage every aspect of the cabin, and ensure that safety and comfort are never compromised.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

    • Greeting passengers warmly, explaining safety equipment, and setting the tone for a seamless flight
    • Directing and assisting passengers during emergencies with calm authority
    • Administering basic first aid, CPR, and using an AED if needed—your training matters here
    • Securing the cabin in strict compliance with federal regulations before takeoff and landing
    • Reassuring passengers during turbulence or other unsettling moments with confidence and care
    • Conducting thorough preflight briefings with your crew
    • Ensuring every supply is onboard and sufficient for each trip—food, beverages, blankets, reading materials, emergency equipment
    • Shopping for special requests that passengers want for their flight, adding that personal touch
    • Inspecting, cleaning, and restocking the cabin, galley, lavatories, and flight deck after each leg
    • Keeping the aircraft always ready—spotlessly cleaned and fully stocked
    • Performing periodic cabin checks throughout the flight to ensure passenger comfort
    • Completing preflight, in-flight, and post-flight paperwork accurately
    • Operating onboard audio and video systems as needed

What You Bring to the Cockpit Door?

We're looking for someone with serious credentials and an even more serious dedication to service. Here's what we require:

    • At least 5 years of experience as a Corporate Flight Attendant – this is non-negotiable
    • A strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
    • Current First Aid Training Certification, including CPR and AED
    • Culinary skills and formal culinary training (this is required, not just preferred)
    • The ability to manage a constantly changing schedule, including late-night flights and being on standby with a 2-3 hour response time
    • Willingness to deploy for up to 16 consecutive days
    • Unrestricted ability to travel worldwide (please consider health and visa status before applying)
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • A high level of attention to detail
    • Technological savviness – you should be comfortable with iPads, smartphones, and various digital tools
    • Genuine flexibility and patience – things change quickly in private aviation

We'll be especially excited if you also have:

    • Formal flight attendant training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or a similar program (annual recurrent training is required). Candidates without this training may be considered based on other qualifications but must attend initial training before being assigned to flights. Preference goes to those who have completed such training within the past 12 months.
    • A college degree
    • Fluency in one or more foreign languages
    • Experience working with small children

Technical Skills You'll Need to Master

You should be fully comfortable with:

    • Operating all features of the Cabin Management Systems
    • Using every piece of galley equipment
    • Configuring all cabin features, including berthing seats and converting the divan into a bed

Physical Requirements – Please Read Carefully

This role is physically demanding. You must be able to:

    • See: Vision correctable to 20/20 or better with glasses or contacts. Uncorrected vision no worse than 20/200. You'll need to read reports, charts, complete paperwork, and use computers and mobile devices.
    • Hear and Speak: Communicate clearly and effectively over the phone and in person with clients, coworkers, and pilots, even while the aircraft is in flight.
    • Stand and Walk: Remain on your feet for up to 14 hours with limited opportunity to sit. Work long hours in various climates.
    • Climb, Stoop, Kneel, Bend: Maneuver in tight confinements within the aircraft, including kneeling in the luggage compartment to load supplies.
    • Use your hands: Push open and pull closed the main cabin door, which weighs up to 130 pounds. Write, type, use a computer and phone, and prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages.
    • Lift: Repeatedly lift supplies weighing approximately 25 to 30 pounds from floor level to waist height.
