Experience and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification with Credit passes in English and Mathematics
- Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Aviation, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential
- Currently employed as a Cabin Crew member, preferably at Senior Cabin Crew level, with a minimum of three (3) years of flying experience
- Consideration may also be given to applicants who have held a similar Cabin Crew position within the previous six (6) months
- Able to swim 50 metres unaided—swimming proficiency is essential for safety
- Able to remain afloat for a minimum of two (2) minutes without a flotation device
Additional Requirements
Applicants must also meet the following criteria:
- Be between 21 and 35 years of age
- Be medically fit and capable of meeting Air Niugini and CASA medical, safety, and grooming standards
- Meet all required height and reach standards for cabin safety duties
- Hold a Police Clearance Certificate issued within the last six (6) months
- Hold a valid passport with at least twelve (12) months validity remaining
- Have no visible tattoos while wearing the Air Niugini uniform
- Maintain professional presentation and grooming standards at all times
