Training
Upon joining the company, all new employees will undergo a two-month training program to prepare them for their role at Scoot. The curriculum encompasses the following core competencies:
- Safety and emergency procedures
- Door operation
- Firefighting
- First aid administration
- Personal grooming standards
- Scoot company culture and values
- Passenger handling procedures
- In-flight sales processes
Requirements
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and meet the minimum height requirement of 1.65m for males and 1.58m for females due to safety and security regulations. Candidates must possess a Diploma or higher qualification and be fluent in both Mandarin and English to conduct in-flight safety announcements on China routes. Relocation to Singapore is mandatory, as is the ability to work a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays. A commitment to a compulsory service bond is required. Due to the nature of the role and global travel restrictions, all cabin crew must be fully vaccinated with at least two doses administered prior to the interview. A professional appearance is essential, and visible tattoos are not permitted. Only shortlisted applicants will be invited to the assessment center, and successful candidates must commence employment within two months of the assessment.
