Description
The Bar Host plays a vital role in ensuring a superior experience for guests at the Airport Lounge Bar by delivering professional bar service. This position involves managing daily operations within the Lounge Bar and other designated areas, effectively handling a variety of tasks and responsibilities to create a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests. As a Bar Host, you will warmly welcome guests upon their arrival and introduce them to an enticing selection of cocktails and cold beverages, while also promoting hot drink options attractively. You will recommend a range of beverages, including cocktails, raw cold-pressed juices, wines, and other specialty drinks, providing detailed product information to those interested. Engaging with guests warmly and openly is essential, as you will initiate conversations and offer spontaneous tastings of wine and liquor, wishing each guest a pleasant journey. In terms of bar service, you will demonstrate expert beverage mixing skills, serve drinks directly to guests, and relay beverage orders to the lounge team. You will consistently replenish drinks for guests, monitor stock levels, and maintain an inventory log to ensure everything is well-stocked. Cleanliness and presentation of the bar area are paramount, so you will set up and close the bar while adhering to high hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a High School Diploma. While not mandatory, a certificate or college courses in hospitality or food and beverage service are preferred. Additionally, a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a similar role is required.
