Your Role: A Ambassador of Safety and Service
As the face of United in the skies, you will be entrusted with our customers' safety and comfort. Your Dutch fluency will be a key asset, allowing you to provide personalized, thoughtful service to a diverse global audience. Do You Have What It Takes?
We are looking for candidates who embody professionalism, resilience, and a global mindset. To qualify, you must meet these key requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age and a high school graduate or GED holder (some college is preferred).
- Fluency is required: You must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently, and speak and read Dutch fluently.
- Possess at least one year of customer service experience in industries like hospitality, retail, or education.
- Have a valid U.S. passport (or foreign passport with appropriate U.S. work visas) in your physical possession at the time of application, with at least 18 months of validity remaining.
- Be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
- Meet specific physical requirements, including the ability to lift, push/pull a service cart, and pass a functional reach test.
- Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with our grooming and uniform standards, including guidelines on visible tattoos and piercings.
- Be willing and able to pass a comprehensive 10-year background check, pre-employment drug screening, and medical evaluation.
Your United Journey: Training & Rewards
Your adventure begins with our best-in-class training program. You'll spend 6.5 weeks at our training center in Houston, TX, where we cover everything from safety protocols to service excellence. During this time, United provides a weekly stipend, hotel accommodations, and meals.
Upon successful graduation, you'll be assigned to your crew base and welcomed as a full-time United employee, eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
