Porter Airlines is looking for Flight Attendants based in Thunder Bay (Thunder Bay International Airport - YQT). As a Flight Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering Porter’s signature "Flying Refined" experience while ensuring the safety and comfort of every passenger on board.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Flight Attendant, you will ensure the safety and security of all passengers while effortlessly delivering friendly and attentive service to maintain passenger comfort. You will adhere to trained Standard Operating Procedures consistent with Transport Canada and Porter policies and tactfully manage unforeseen operational and passenger situations. You will actively monitor the general condition of the aircraft cabin and adjust accordingly to maintain passenger safety or improve the passenger experience. Exemplifying the Porter Values, you will develop and maintain a positive relationship with team members and actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations, while understanding, complying with, and promoting the Company Safety Policy.
Requirements
To qualify for this position, applicants must be at least 19 years old, have a high school diploma, and be fluent in English. Proficiency in French is considered an asset. Candidates must have at least two years of customer service experience, possess a valid Canadian or International passport with a US Crewmember Visa, be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card, meet rigorous medical standards, and be available for short-notice work. Additionally, successful applicants must complete a five-week training program and be flexible to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.
