What You’ll Do?
As a Flight Attendant at National Airlines, you’ll be more than the face of our service—you’ll be the guardian of comfort and safety on every flight. You’ll ensure our guests receive world-class care while maintaining the highest safety and security standards.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Actively participating in the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and following all FAA and company procedures.
- Preparing the cabin for departure and ensuring all safety, catering, and passenger requirements are met.
- Conducting safety demonstrations and enforcing all federal regulations during the flight.
- Providing attentive, professional service to passengers, including those with special needs.
- Maintaining accurate passenger manifests, reports, and manuals.
- Supporting the flight crew with clear communication and teamwork.
- Promoting a culture of safety, respect, and excellence both onboard and within the crew community.
Who We’re Looking For?
We’re seeking dependable, service-driven professionals who can perform under pressure and represent our brand with pride.
Basic Requirements:
- At least 21 years old
- High school diploma or GED
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Must successfully complete all pre-employment checks, including TSA clearance, background screening, and FAA drug testing
- Ability to attend and pass a six-week, full-time initial Flight Attendant training program
- Flexibility to work long hours, weekends, holidays, and spend up to 18 days per month away from base
- Must be based in Orlando, FL (MCO) and comply with reserve and scheduling requirements
- Valid U.S. passport with at least 12 months remaining
- U.S. citizenship (required due to contract and route regulations)
Preferred:
- One year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or aviation
- Professional, polished appearance with excellent interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in diverse environments and handling sensitive situations with discretion
Physical Requirements:
This is a physically demanding and hands-on role. You should be able to:
- Reach emergency equipment in overhead bins (minimum height: 5’2”)
- Lift up to 49 lbs to overhead storage and push/pull service carts up to 250 lbs
- Stand or walk for extended periods and sit securely in a jump seat with harness fastened
- Work with allergens and a variety of food items, including nuts, seafood, and meat
- Carry personal luggage up aircraft stairs without assistance
