We’re looking for a Cabin Operations Manager to join our growing team in Malta. This role is all about leadership, support, and setting the standard for our cabin crews. You’ll work closely with Cabin Hosts/Hostesses and key stakeholders across the business to ensure our operations run smoothly while keeping the team motivated, empowered, and aligned with Vista’s vision of excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing?
- Supporting and safeguarding the welfare of our Cabin Hosts/Hostesses, ensuring they’re equipped and motivated to deliver world-class service safely and efficiently
- Acting as a trusted leader—building strong relationships with your team, conducting fair and constructive performance reviews, and guiding professional growth
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders on operational projects and initiatives that push the business forward
- Managing day-to-day operations, including absence monitoring, rostering support, safety oversight, and departmental processes
- Addressing challenges like underperformance with fairness, efficiency, and professionalism
- Overseeing cabin-related functions such as aircraft stocking, safety reports, flight briefs, and audits
- Identifying and celebrating talent within the team while championing Vista’s culture and values
- Completing VistaJet’s Cabin Host/ess training to better understand the role and, when needed, covering operational flights yourself
- Traveling when necessary to support operations, training, or stakeholder engagement
What We’re Looking For?
- Eligibility to live and work in Europe
- A background in aviation and/or leadership is highly valued
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment—comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a genuine commitment to excellence
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written)
