Join BermudAir as an In-Flight Catering Assistant
BermudAir, Bermuda’s boutique airline connecting the island with North America, is expanding our ground operations team. We’re looking for reliable and detail-oriented In-Flight Catering Assistants to help us deliver the same warm Bermudian hospitality in the sky that our passengers know on the ground. Whether you’re looking for full-time or part-time work, this is a hands-on role that ensures our crews have everything they need to provide a smooth service onboard.
What You’ll Be Doing?
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll be the behind-the-scenes support that makes our flights possible. From assembling snack trays and beverages to loading carts and keeping inventory in check, you’ll play a key role in ensuring each flight leaves Hamilton fully stocked and ready. Your work will include:
- Preparing and loading food, snacks, and drinks to the highest hygiene standards
- Supporting stock audits and bar counts to track inventory accurately
- Monitoring food temperatures, stock levels, and equipment performance
- Coordinating with flight operations and responding to crew feedback
- Performing service checks and taking part in catering team briefings
- Following all safety, security, and compliance requirements
Who We’re Looking For?
We want dependable team players who take pride in their work and aren’t afraid of early starts. Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Flexibility and punctuality (7:00 AM shifts are part of the schedule)
- Previous food handling, catering, or hospitality experience (a plus, but not required)
- A Class 3 Driver’s License and Airfield Driving Permit (preferred, not essential)
- Ability to pass all required security checks, including a police vetting and five-year work history review
