Description
Clay Lacy Aviation is looking for a seasoned and detail-oriented Cabin Attendant to join our team and support the operation of a Gulfstream G650 based at Westchester County Airport (KHPN). In this role, you’ll take the lead in delivering a premium onboard experience tailored to the unique expectations of our private aircraft owner, while also upholding the highest safety standards in flight.
This is not your typical in-flight service role — it’s a chance to create memorable journeys, anticipate needs with precision, and maintain a polished, ready-to-fly cabin environment every time wheels go up. Candidates must reside within a two-hour driving radius of KHPN, as this is a non-commutable role.
As the sole Cabin Attendant on this large cabin aircraft, your responsibilities go far beyond inflight service. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing every detail of the cabin experience — from ensuring compliance with all FAA and internal safety procedures to managing inventory, sourcing specialty catering, and maintaining the look and feel of the cabin according to the owner’s preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing discreet, high-end service while remaining safety-focused at all times.
- Learning and documenting the owner’s detailed preferences (dietary needs, allergies, favorite brands, etc.).
- Keeping the aircraft stocked, organized, and impeccably clean.
- Managing onboard supplies, rotating inventory, and replenishing goods proactively.
- Shopping and preparing for each trip, ensuring every detail is accounted for before departure.
- Coordinating with flight crews and ground personnel to ensure smooth logistics and transitions.
- Participating in aircraft showings, and supporting light maintenance by overseeing cabin readiness.
- Staying flexible and responsive to dynamic flight schedules.
- Communicating frequently with In-Flight Services to align on operational needs.
- You’ll also need to travel regularly, often with overnight stays in both domestic and international destinations.
Requirements
This role is best suited for an experienced corporate flight attendant who understands the demands of high-end private aviation and thrives in a self-managed environment.
- At least 3 years of experience on large cabin jets (Part 91 and/or 135).
- Based within 2 hours driving distance from KHPN — this is not a fly-in role.
- Current Emergency Training (completed within the past 12 months), including CPR/First Aid.
- Valid passport with no travel restrictions.
- Active Food Handler Certificate.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Willing to work on-call schedules, weekends, holidays, and adapt to short-notice travel.
Core Attributes for Success:
You should be someone who:
- Thrives under pressure and adapts quickly to change.
- Delivers exceptional customer experiences with warmth and professionalism.
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and discretion.
- Works independently, stays organized, and handles logistics with precision.
- Takes ownership, remains accountable, and leads with integrity.
Benefits and Perks
Clay Lacy Aviation offers more than just a paycheck. This position comes with a competitive salary between $185,000 and $206,000, and we cover the full cost of your medical and healthcare premiums. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with a world-class team known for its excellence in private aviation.
