Join Breeze Airways as a Part-Time Flight Attendant in Vero Beach, FL!
If you’re passionate about aviation, service, and making people smile, Breeze Airways invites you to join our vibrant team at Vero Beach Regional Airport (VRB). We’re hiring part-time Flight Attendants who live within a two-hour drive of Vero Beach and are ready to become ambassadors of our values—Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.
As a Flight Attendant based in this sunny, coastal city, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and comfort of every Guest onboard. From greeting passengers with a warm smile to handling inflight service and emergency procedures, your calm presence and professional demeanor will make every journey a positive experience. You’ll represent the heart of Breeze while adapting to the unique needs of our Guests—all while based near one of Florida’s most relaxed and scenic destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Breeze Flight Attendant, you’ll create a safe and welcoming environment from boarding to landing. You'll assist with seating and carry-ons, provide attentive service, and maintain a clean cabin. Your responsibilities include delivering safety demonstrations, responding to medical or emergency needs, and ensuring FAA compliance at all times. You’ll be trained in essential areas such as first aid and Autism Awareness and will collaborate closely with your crew to meet operational needs—even when schedules shift due to weather or logistics.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be at least 21 years old at the time training begins and hold a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates must be fluent in English, with the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the language clearly, especially when communicating safety instructions to non-English-speaking Guests. A strong customer service mindset is essential, along with the ability to serve beverages and maintain a professional, well-groomed appearance that aligns with CDC hygiene standards. Nose piercings are permitted within guidelines—only a single 2mm or smaller stud in silver, gold, or gemstone is allowed, and hoops or other facial piercings are not permitted. Tooth gems or embellishments are not allowed while in uniform. No more than two earrings per ear are acceptable, and tattoos may be visible while in uniform if they meet company appearance standards, which will be shared during the selection process. You must meet minimum height requirements to reach and retrieve emergency equipment from overhead bins without assistance, while also not exceeding maximum height to ensure proper head clearance in the cabin. You must be able to sit and secure the seatbelt harness and lap belt on the jumpseats of the E190, E195, and A220 aircraft, pass vision and hearing tests, and complete security training successfully. A DOT pre-employment drug screening, TSA fingerprint-based criminal history check, and an internal Breeze background check are required. You must hold a valid passport with at least six months of remaining validity, have the legal right to work in the U.S., and be able to travel without restriction to and from the United States.
