Join the Pride of Avianca: Become a Cabin Crew Trainee in Colombia!
At Avianca, we believe our people are the heart of everything we achieve. We are building a future where talented, motivated, and genuinely enjoyable people come together to win. If you thrive on challenges, learn quickly, and want to be part of a diverse and inclusive team that takes pride in connecting Colombia with the world, this is your moment.
We are searching for our next group of Cabin Crew Trainees (what we call our "School" program)—individuals ready to step into a dynamic role that blends safety, service, and professionalism. As a trainee, you will learn to master safety procedures, aviation regulations, onboard service standards, and company policies, all while creating a secure, efficient, and welcoming environment for every passenger who steps aboard our aircraft.
What You'll Be Doing as a Trainee?
Our core values—safety, reliability, kindness, simplicity, and accountability—guide everything we do. As you train with us, you will take on responsibilities that include:
- Following all procedures outlined in the Cabin Crew Manual, from pre-flight briefings and reading the latest circulars to ensuring your documentation is current and your personal presentation is impeccable.
- Putting your training into action during flights, learning to make sound decisions under normal conditions, during unexpected changes, and even in emergencies. Your goal will always be to protect safety while delivering warm, effective service that turns a routine flight into a memorable journey.
- Keeping a watchful eye on operations, identifying anything that could be improved or any safety concerns, and reporting them through the proper channels so we can continuously get better.
- Working closely with your Cabin Chief, documenting any anomalies, incidents, or inconsistencies in the cabin maintenance logbook and flight report to ensure smooth, well-documented operations.
- Participating in onboard sales following company procedures, adding another valuable skill to your growing aviation toolkit.
