Join Our Regional Adventure: Cabin Crew Opportunities in Broome!
Ready to embark on a unique aviation journey in one of Australia's most breathtaking regions? Nexus Airlines is experiencing exciting growth, and we are now inviting expressions of interest for dedicated Cabin Crew to be based in the iconic town of Broome. This is your chance to become the welcoming heart of our operation, connecting communities and creating memorable journeys across the Kimberley and beyond.
As part of our tight-knit team, you'll be more than a flight attendant—you'll be an ambassador for the region, delivering the warm, attentive service that turns a simple flight into an unforgettable part of our passengers' adventure.
Your Role: Safety, Service, and Heart!
In this hands-on role, you are the face of Nexus Airlines from the moment passengers step on board. You'll work closely with a small, collaborative crew to ensure the highest standards of cabin safety while creating a genuine, friendly atmosphere in the sky. Every flight is an opportunity to make a positive impact, whether you're ensuring safety protocols are followed with precision or sharing a warm smile that makes a traveller's day.
A snapshot of your key responsibilities:
- Acting as a vigilant guardian of cabin safety, proactively managing the aircraft environment and identifying any potential safety matters.
- Fostering a positive, trusting, and supportive team dynamic with your fellow crew members.
- Providing exceptional, personalised customer service that makes every passenger feel valued and leaves a lasting positive impression.
- Maintaining clear, calm, and effective communication with both the flight deck and your cabin team throughout the journey.
- Demonstrating respect and sensitivity towards cultural diversity and providing thoughtful assistance to guests who may need extra help.
- Keeping your emergency procedure skills, knowledge, and physical readiness sharp and current at all times.
- Upholding an impeccably professional standard in your behaviour, personal presentation, and positive attitude.
Is This You?
We're looking for individuals who live and breathe safety and service. You thrive in dynamic environments, think quickly on your feet, and genuinely enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds. A natural passion for helping others, combined with the ability to stay composed and resilient during unexpected situations, is at the core of this role.
To be successful, you will need:
- A current Senior First Aid Certificate (including CPR) with at least 12 months validity.
- The ability to swim 50 metres unaided while fully clothed and tread water for 3 minutes.
- A height between 163cm and 183cm.
- To be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- A commitment to maintaining a high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
- The ability to successfully pass a pre-employment health assessment, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Full availability to attend and complete mandatory Ground School training in Perth.
- The ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- A current motor vehicle driver's licence.
- A high level of written and spoken English (ICAO Language Proficiency Level 6 or equivalent).
- A valid passport with a minimum of 18 months' validity.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or New Zealand citizenship.
Why Build Your Career with Nexus Airlines?

- An attractive salary and salary sacrifice/packaging benefits to maximise your take-home pay.
- Genuine personal development opportunities within a diverse and inclusive organisation that encourages growth.
