What You'll Be Doing Onboard?
Your role goes far beyond welcoming passengers. As the face of US-Bangla Airlines, you'll be responsible for creating a safe, comfortable, and pleasant journey from start to finish.
A typical day in the air includes:
- Attending pre-flight briefings to stay aligned with your team and the flight plan
- Greeting passengers as they board, helping them find their seats, and ensuring hand luggage is stored securely
- Checking that all emergency equipment is in working order before takeoff, then clearly explaining and demonstrating safety procedures
- Verifying that passenger seatbelts and galleys are secured prior to departure
- Serving and clearing meal trays with efficiency and a warm attitude
- Distributing landing cards and other necessary documentation during the flight
- Administering first aid when needed and staying calm during any emergency situations
What We're Looking For?
We take our selection process seriously because our crew represents our brand. Please review these requirements carefully before applying.
Education:
- Minimum HSC or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.00 out of 5.00 in both SSC and HSC. No third division or equivalent result is accepted.
- For Diploma degree holders, a minimum CGPA of 2.80 out of 4.00 is required.
- For O-Level candidates: maximum 5 subjects with an average grade of D. A-Level: maximum 2 subjects with an average grade of D. GED is not accepted.
Physical Requirements:
- Height: Minimum 168 cm (5 feet 6 inches) for male candidates; minimum 161 cm (5 feet 3 inches) for female candidates.
- Arm reach: Must be able to reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes.
- Weight: Must be proportionate to height, with a BMI strictly between 18 and 25 for both male and female applicants.
- Appearance: Strong, upright posture with no visible tattoos or marks on the body.
Age:
- Freshers: 18 to 27 years as of the application deadline.
- Experienced candidates: Maximum 35 years. Only previous experience as a Cabin Crew member will be considered. No affidavits will be accepted.
Eyesight:
- Visual acuity of 6/6 without spectacles. Corrected vision up to 6/6 is acceptable. Candidates with color blindness will not be considered.
Swimming:
- Swimming skills are given preference. Selected candidates who do not yet swim must learn during the initial training period.
Language Skills:
- Fluency in both Bengali and English, written and spoken. Additional language competencies are an advantage.
Medical & General Fitness:
- Must be in good physical health and medically fit to meet cabin crew requirements.
- Positive attitude, impressive bearing, and an appealing personality.
Residency Requirement:
- After joining, you must reside adjacent to or around Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA)—areas such as Nikunja or Uttara Model Town (Sector 1 through 14).
