Join Jet Select as a Cabin Host – Luxury Private Aviation (G550) – Based at KBDR!

Jet Select, proudly part of the Vista America family, is seeking a polished, experienced, and highly adaptable Cabin Host or Hostess to join our managed fleet operating out of Bridgeport Sikorsky Memorial Airport (KBDR). This is a rare opportunity to work aboard a stunning Gulfstream 550, where your primary focus will be crafting a warm, seamless, and truly personalized experience for every customer who steps on board. If you take genuine pride in anticipating needs, thrive on attention to detail, and want to be part of a world-class private aviation team, this role is designed with you in mind.

    Who We Are?

At Jet Select, we don't just operate aircraft—we deliver excellence across every facet of private aviation. As an integrated large-cabin and super-midsize management operator and maintenance provider, we serve aircraft owners with a best-in-class operational platform. Our clients—whether individuals or corporations—enjoy 365-day access to one of the most luxurious and diverse fleets in the world. Backed by award-winning safety programs and a leadership team with over five hundred years of collective aviation experience, we set the standard in aircraft management, charter management, on-demand charter, aircraft sales, and maintenance. You'll be flying in a mix of Part 91 and Part 135 operations, giving you variety and depth in your daily work.

    What You'll Do Onboard?

As the Cabin Host, you are the soul of the in-flight experience. Every flight is carefully planned down to the smallest detail, and you'll be responsible for creating that unmistakable "home away from home" feeling our customers love.

    Your day-to-day will include:

    • Welcoming passengers, assisting with carry-on luggage, and ensuring everyone—including children, passengers with disabilities, or those requiring restraint systems—is seated comfortably and safely.
    • Planning, ordering, preparing, and serving meals with a refined touch, including handling common allergens such as shellfish, nuts, dairy, and wheat with care and awareness.
    • Operating all emergency equipment confidently—fire extinguishers, life rafts, oxygen systems, and AEDs—while leading the cabin in the event of an emergency, medical incident, or evacuation.
    • Briefing passengers on aircraft convenience systems, from entertainment to high-speed data.
    • Conducting thorough pre-flight checks of all cabin safety equipment, documenting any maintenance issues with the Pilot in Command.
    • Ensuring the aircraft cabin, lavatory, and galley are spotless and fully stocked before every flight, including sourcing vendors and developing standard stock.
    • Being comfortable in situations that may involve animals or smoking.
    • Assisting flight crew with safety-related tasks as needed.

What You Bring to the Team?

We're looking for someone who combines luxury service experience with genuine flexibility and grace under pressure. To be considered, you must meet the following:

    • Position yourself in Bridgeport, CT (KBDR).
    • Hold a high school diploma or GED (college degree is a plus).
    • Have at least 3 years of experience in one of the following: private aviation, commercial First or Business Class cabin, or another high-end luxury service sector.
    • Possess a US passport or Green Card, with legal right to live and work in the USA.
    • Be able to obtain a second passport and crew visas, with unrestricted legal travel to all countries that Vista America serves.
    • Hold a valid US Driver's License.
    • Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and creative problem-solving.
    • Show meticulous attention to detail and the ability to stay calm and prioritize in a fast-moving, unpredictable environment.
    • Have a genuine passion for delivering 5-star customer service.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion at all times.
    • Communicate articulately in English (spoken and written). Additional languages and international experience are a strong advantage.
    • Be physically capable of assisting in launching a life raft weighing approximately 60 pounds, and lifting, opening, and manipulating aircraft doors and window exits weighing up to 130 pounds.
    • Be ready and willing to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and scheduled days off.
