Your Role as a Cabin Host/ess
This position isn’t just about service—it’s about creating a refined, safe, and personalized environment from wheels up to wheels down. Based in Bridgeport, you’ll play a critical role in both guest experience and safety. Whether you’re preparing the cabin before departure, managing inflight catering, or supporting passengers with comfort and discretion, you’ll be the face of Jet Select in the skies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preflight checks on all safety and service equipment to ensure aircraft readiness
- Deliver tailored inflight service, including planning, sourcing, and presenting high-quality meals and beverages
- Confidently operate all emergency equipment and provide leadership during medical or evacuation situations
- Assist passengers with seating, carry-on luggage, and use of entertainment and connectivity systems
- Manage catering vendors, standard stock, and cabin inventory for consistency across flights
- Ensure the aircraft cabin remains clean, well-presented, and prepared to owner and passenger specifications
- Collaborate closely with pilots and ground teams to report cabin discrepancies and maintain top operational standards
- Provide discreet, five-star hospitality, ensuring passengers feel comfortable, cared for, and secure throughout their journey
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required; a college degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of premium hospitality or luxury service experience (private aviation or first/business class commercial cabin preferred)
- Strong cultural awareness and the ability to interact confidently with high-profile passengers
- US passport or Green Card holder with unrestricted travel rights; ability to secure additional passports/visas as needed
- Valid US driver’s license
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs (life rafts) and operating emergency exits up to 130 lbs
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts
- Calm under pressure, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality
