Elevate the Private Aviation Experience: Global Cabin Service Representative – Signature Crew!
Preferred Location: U.S. Eastern Region
Planet 9 Private Air is redefining what it means to deliver exceptional service in the private aviation world. As a rapidly growing Aircraft Management and Charter Operator with bases in Van Nuys, New York, London, and Lisbon, we bring decades of industry expertise to every flight. Our clients enjoy the freedom and flexibility of private travel while we handle the complexities—from crew coordination to financial oversight, 24/7 operational support, and the meticulous care of their aircraft.
We are currently seeking a polished, seasoned, and highly organized Cabin Service Representative to join our Signature Crew team, serving a prestigious Signature Account under both Part 91 and Part 135 operations. If you are a career flight attendant who takes pride in anticipating needs, curating exceptional inflight experiences, and operating with precision and discretion, this role offers the opportunity to soar with a globally respected operator.
Your Role: Curator of the Inflight Experience
This is not a typical service role—it's a position of trust, creativity, and operational excellence. You will be the sole architect of the onboard experience for discerning clients who expect nothing less than perfection. From gourmet menu planning and sourcing the finest catering to ensuring every cabin detail is immaculate, your work begins long before the engines start. You'll partner closely with pilots, coordinate with FBOs, and manage everything from fine-dining service to post-flight reconciliation—all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and discretion.
What You'll Do: A Day in the Life?
Your responsibilities will be as varied as they are rewarding, blending hands-on service with strategic planning and attention to detail:
- Curate the Culinary Experience: Plan and source exceptional catering from top restaurants, specialty caterers, and retailers, tailoring each menu to client preferences.
- Manage Cabin & Galley Operations: Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight checks, report any equipment concerns to the Pilot in Command, and ensure the aircraft is pristine and fully stocked.
- Deliver Five-Star Inflight Service: Provide gracious, fine-dining service onboard that anticipates and exceeds client expectations, always with poise and professionalism.
- Oversee Logistics: Coordinate cleaning of linens and dishware, track service items stored at FBOs, and ensure seamless organization across all touchpoints.
- Maintain Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all company safety protocols, complete required training, participate in the safety management system, and follow safe food handling procedures without exception.
- Handle Administrative Tasks: Complete and submit flight reports accurately, reconcile company credit card transactions, and stay current with all company communications.
- Adapt & Support: Embrace evolving priorities and take on additional projects as needed to support the Signature Account and broader team goals.
What You Bring to the Flight Deck?
We're looking for a true professional who combines experience, intuition, and technical skill. To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Experience
- 3–5+ years as a Corporate Flight Attendant, with 2–3+ years of directly applicable large-cabin private or corporate jet experience (Part 91 and/or Part 135).
Credentials
- A valid passport, unrestricted ability to travel worldwide, a clean driving record with a valid Driver's License, and Covid-19 vaccination.
Certifications
- Current Emergency Training Certificate, CPR/First Aid, and First Aid Training Certification. Annual recurrent training is required; previous safety training from FlightSafety, FACTs, or similar is strongly preferred.
Education
- A college degree is preferred but not required.
Technical Proficiency
- Comfort operating cabin management systems, galley equipment, and all cabin features—including berthing seats and configuring divans into beds. You're also tech-savvy with iPads, smartphones, and computers.
Culinary Passion
- Culinary skills or specific training are a significant advantage—you understand that great food is central to a great flight.
Personal Qualities
- Impeccable interpersonal skills, an eagle eye for detail, patience, and flexibility to adapt to constantly changing schedules and late-night flights. You remain calm under pressure and take pride in making the complex look effortless.
Meeting the Physical Demands
This role requires both stamina and strength. You should be prepared to:
- Stand for up to 14 hours with limited opportunity to sit, and work comfortably in various climates.
- Lift and maneuver supplies weighing 25–30 pounds repeatedly from floor level to waist height.
- Push or pull the main cabin door (up to 130 pounds) as needed.
- Kneel in luggage compartments, navigate tight spaces within the aircraft, and climb, stoop, and bend as required.
- See clearly (correctable to 20/20), hear and speak effectively during flights, and use hands for typing, food preparation, and serving.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
