STARLUX Airlines is welcoming passionate, service-driven individuals to join its Japanese Cabin Crew team based in Tokyo or Osaka. As part of the inflight team, you'll play a key role in shaping the travel experience for guests flying across STARLUX's growing international network.
In this role, you'll manage essential cabin safety duties, assist passengers with genuine care, and create a seamless, comfortable inflight environment. The schedule follows a rotating roster, which means shifts may fall on weekends, national holidays, and occasionally during overnight hours. It's a position that suits individuals who enjoy a dynamic work rhythm and want to thrive in a fast-paced airline setting.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates must hold the legal right to work in Japan and be graduates of universities recognized by MEXT—domestic or international. Those completing their degree in March 2026 may also apply, with onboarding scheduled for June 2026.
English Language Requirements
English ability is an essential part of the job, and applicants must provide an official test transcript. Accepted tests and minimum scores include:
- TOEIC L&R: 600
- BULATS: 45
- EIKEN: Grade 2
- TOEFL iBT: 64
- TOEFL ITP: 480
- IELTS: 4.5
- Linguaskill: 145
STARLUX strongly encourages submitting the most recent results available. If the correct documentation cannot be presented on the day of the onsite interview, eligibility may be withdrawn.
Physical and Operational Requirements
To perform safety duties onboard, you must be able to reach 210 cm when standing on tiptoes, and meet the airline's vision standards (minimum 0.1 unaided, and 1.0 or above with corrective lenses). Applicants must also be able to attend full-time training in Taiwan during either MAR–JUN 2026 or JUN–SEP 2026. Additionally, commuting to Narita Airport or Kansai International Airport within 90 minutes by public transportation is required for operational readiness.

Employment Details
This position is offered under a 3-year Fixed-Term Training & Employment Agreement. At the end of the term, STARLUX will evaluate contract renewal or potential transition to permanent employment based on your performance and personal career goals. Your home base will be Tokyo or Osaka, while the official training program will be held at the STARLUX Operation Center in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
