Join the Breeze Crew: Seriously Nice Flight Attendants Wanted in Raleigh!

If you're the kind of person who believes that kindness actually matters—and that a warm smile can turn someone's whole day around—Breeze Airways wants to meet you. We're hiring "Seriously Nice" Part Time Flight Attendants for our Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) crew base, and we're looking for people who genuinely enjoy helping others, staying calm when things get hectic, and making every guest feel like they're exactly where they belong.

This isn't just a job where you hand out drinks and point to the nearest exit. You'll be the heart of the Breeze experience, the person our guests remember long after they've landed. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, let's talk.

A Few Things to Know Up Front

Before we go any further, here's what this part-time role looks like in practical terms:

    • You'll have a monthly guarantee of 37.5 flying hours
    • You need to live within a two-hour drive of Raleigh-Durham International Airport
    • You'll need to successfully complete our initial Flight Attendant training (it's paid, by the way)
    • You must be selected through our interview process first, of course

    What You'll Actually Be Doing?

Your days will vary, but your purpose won't. Here's a closer look at what you'll handle as a Breeze Flight Attendant:

    • Welcoming guests onto the aircraft like they're coming into your own home—helping with seating, luggage, coats, and answering any questions along the way
    • Staying present and approachable by regularly walking through the cabin, not disappearing after takeoff
    • Keeping your cool under pressure when delays happen, situations get tense, or guests need extra reassurance
    • Working as a real team—communicating openly, respecting your fellow crew members, and collaborating to solve problems
    • Preparing and serving meals, snacks, and beverages (alcohol included) while maintaining the highest hygiene standards
    • Keeping the cabin and galley organized, even when space is tight and things get busy
    • Teaching emergency and evacuation procedures with clarity and confidence
    • Providing first aid and medical care if an emergency arises
    • Staying flexible—schedules can shift due to weather, operations, or other unexpected delays
    • Staying current on FAA regulations, company policies, and ongoing training
    • Using and explaining Breeze's inflight technology comfortably
    • Conducting security screenings and completing Autism Awareness Training
    • Stepping into other departments if needed—we help each other out here

    What We're Looking For?

First, the practical requirements. You'll need:

    • To be at least 21 years old
    • A high school diploma or equivalent
    • The ability to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without help (no specific minimum height, but you need to be able to do that)
    • Enough head clearance in the cabin (no specific maximum height, but you need to fit comfortably)
    • The ability to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 jumpseat harness and lap belt
    • A neat, well-groomed appearance that makes a positive impression
    • A genuine service-oriented mindset
    • The ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently (you may need to communicate safety instructions to guests who don't speak English)
    • The ability to pass vision and hearing tests
    • The ability to successfully complete security screening training
    • A current passport with at least six months remaining before expiration—this is non-negotiable
    • The legal right to work in the U.S. and to travel without restriction to and from the United States
    • The ability to serve alcoholic beverages
    • Willingness to relocate based on operational needs, if applicable
    • The ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
    • The ability to report for work at your assigned base for your assigned trips
    • The ability to work "Reserve Assignment" at your base
    • A positive attitude and strong desire to succeed—self-starters thrive here

A Word on Appearance (Because You Asked)

We keep things professional but reasonable:

    • Nose piercings: One small stud (2mm or smaller) in silver, gold, or gemstone is fine. No hoops, and no other facial piercings.
    • Earrings: Up to two per ear while in uniform.
    • Teeth embellishments: Not allowed in uniform.
    • Tattoos: May be visible if they follow our guidelines (we'll share those during the selection process).

Physical and Personal Skills You'll Need

This job is hands-on, literally. You should be comfortable with:

    • Standing for extended periods
    • Reading announcements clearly and giving emergency commands in English
    • Turning challenges into solutions
    • Thinking independently while also being a strong team player
    • Working without direct supervision when needed
    • Lifting up to 50 pounds
    • Closing overhead bins with a push/pull force of about 50 pounds
    • Assisting disabled passengers into and out of the inflight wheelchair and transporting them as needed
    • Pushing and pulling beverage and food carts up and down inclines with a force of about 60 pounds
    • Performing all safety-related procedures without hesitation

Beyond the physical, we need people who are skilled at handling difficult situations, resolving complaints calmly, and de-escalating conflict with genuine kindness. You'll also need excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and the ability to work with everyone from new hires to leadership.

    What Breeze Offers You?

We believe in taking care of our people. Here's what you can expect:

    • Paid training – you're investing your time, and we respect that
    • Initial uniform and luggage issued and paid for by Breeze
    • 401K benefits eligible after 90 days of employment
    • Travel benefits on the Breeze network starting after 30 days
    • Travel benefits on other airlines starting after six months
    • Competitive pay rates between $25 and $37.50 per hour

    One Last Thing

You'll also need to pass a DOT pre-employment drug test and a TSA-required fingerprint-based criminal history records check, plus a Breeze background check. We take safety and trust seriously—and we hope you do too.
