Your Role: Creating Excellence at 40,000 Feet
As a Cathay Pacific Flight Attendant, your primary duty is to ensure the safety, comfort, and genuine care of every person on board. You'll be part of a close-knit, culturally diverse team where collaboration and support are paramount. Each flight is a new stage to demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and our signature Hong Kong hospitality.

What You Bring to Our Team?
We welcome individuals who are as passionate about people as they are about travel. To join our Shanghai-based team, you should meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid PRC ID card.
- Have completed high school (or equivalent) or higher education.
- Be professionally fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin (Putonghua). Proficiency in an additional language is a strong advantage.
- Possess outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a naturally warm and engaging manner.
- Be able to reach a minimum of 208cm on tiptoe.
- Previous experience in aviation, hospitality, or customer service is beneficial but not mandatory.
Safety-Sensitive Position Requirements
As this is a safety-critical role, successful candidates must:
- Pass a comprehensive pre-employment background check.
- Pass a pre-employment medical assessment to confirm physical fitness.
- Pass a pre-employment drug test, conducted in accordance with HKCAD guidelines.
English Language Proficiency
Candidates are required to demonstrate English proficiency. You may be exempt from our internal assessment if you possess one of the following valid certificates:
- TOEIC® (Public Test): A score of 325 or above in both Reading and Listening.
- IELTS (Academic): An overall Band Score of 6.0 or above.
