Your Responsibilities as a GOL Flight Attendant
As part of our Cabin Crew team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring safety, comfort, and exceptional service on every flight. Your responsibilities will include:
Safety & Compliance
- Identifying and reporting operational hazards through the designated system—vigilance is essential
- Replacing the Chief Flight Attendant on assigned flights when necessary, in accordance with company regulations
- Ensuring the operational safety policy is understood, maintained, and promoted throughout all operations
- Following safety procedures outlined in the Air Operator's Security Program and other relevant operational manuals
- Reporting any irregularities identified during pre-flight inspections to the Chief Flight Attendant in sufficient time for corrective action
- Preparing reports on events affecting operational safety, as specified in the company's mandatory reporting requirements
Emergency & Security
- Acting in accordance with the instructions of the Captain and Chief Flight Attendant during normal, abnormal, and emergency situations
- Gathering relevant information and notifying the pilot in command in the event of an incident or suspected unlawful interference
- Taking appropriate measures to manage onboard situations involving unlawful acts, following the pilot in command's instructions and the company's Contingency Plan
- Reporting any passenger misconduct to the Chief Flight Attendant for appropriate action
Service & Passenger Care
- Performing onboard service duties and promotional activities assigned by the company
- Assisting unaccompanied minors and passengers traveling alone who require mobility assistance
- Delivering safety instructions to passengers whenever required during the various stages of the flight
- Maintaining situational awareness during passenger boarding and positioning yourself as instructed by the Chief Flight Attendant
Documentation & Compliance
- Complying with and ensuring full adherence to the procedures outlined in the Flight Attendant Manual (MCV) and Cabin Standards Manual (CSM)
- Following duty schedules as instructed by the Scheduling Management and Cabin Crew Management departments
- Keeping up to date with the Flight Attendant Manual (MCV), Cabin Standards Manual (CSM), Operational Bulletins (BO), Information Bulletins (BI), Temporary Revisions (RTs), and Work Instructions (ITs) distributed through the Speed system
- Staying up to date with all company publications before starting any duty assignment or training
Requirements and Qualifications
To participate in the recruitment process, you must meet the following mandatory requirements:
- Completed high school education
- Completed Flight Attendant training course and passed the ANAC examination
- Valid Class 2 Medical Certificate (CMA – Flight Attendant) at the time of application
- Valid CCT or CHT at the time of application
- Conversational proficiency in English or Spanish
- Brazilian passport valid for at least six months
- Foreign applicants must hold a valid RNE (National Foreigner Registration), a Brazilian passport, and Brazilian naturalization in accordance with applicable legislation
- International Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate, which must be presented by the first day of training
Important: The work location will be determined after successful completion of the selection process. Candidates must therefore be fully available to relocate. Recruitment may be conducted for other bases depending on the company's operational needs.
