Your Role: Crafting Seamless Experiences for Our Most Valued Guests
As our Lounge Officer, you will be the welcoming presence that sets the tone for our VIP guests' journey. From the moment they arrive until they board their flight, you'll ensure every detail is handled with precision, discretion, and warmth. Whether managing last-minute bookings, coordinating with airport authorities, or curating the food and beverage experience, your efforts will reflect the exceptional standards that define Air Seychelles hospitality.
What Your Day Will Look Like?
- Delivering first-class service to lounge guests consistently, maintaining the same high standards even during flight delays or irregular operations.
- Anticipating guest preferences—remembering special requests, noting likes and dislikes, and ensuring reasonable accommodations are thoughtfully arranged.
- Monitoring incoming local bookings, sending timely confirmations, and handling last-minute reservations with flexibility and efficiency.
- Preparing daily fast-track lists, name placards, and movement schedules, coordinating closely with airport authorities to ensure smooth arrivals and departures.
- Ensuring food and beverage presentation and service meet our established standards, with attention to quality, aesthetics, and guest satisfaction.
- Maintaining strong product knowledge to confidently promote lounge offerings and answer guest inquiries with expertise.
- Assisting guests with a diverse range of questions, from travel logistics to lounge amenities.
- Managing supply orders and recording deliveries to ensure the lounge is always well-stocked and ready.
- Maintaining impeccable orderliness and cleanliness throughout the lounge environment.
Who We're Looking For?
Our ideal candidate brings a combination of hospitality experience, attention to detail, and a natural ability to connect with people. To be considered, you should have:
- A post-secondary education, with IGCSE/O' Level certificates or equivalent as a minimum qualification.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar hospitality or service role—ideally with a background in food and beverage.
- Full professional fluency in both English and French.
- A genuine customer-first mindset and a positive, can-do approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and colleagues.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a dynamic environment.
- Good decision-making skills, knowing when to act independently and when to seek guidance.
- A collaborative spirit—you enjoy working as part of a close-knit team.
- A pleasant, mature, and courteous demeanor, with grooming standards that reflect the premium nature of our lounge.
