As India's newest carrier, we believe in doing things differently—with warmth, efficiency, and a genuine care for every person on board. Our cabin crew are the heart of that mission, and we're ready to welcome you.

    Where You'll Be Based?

While you'll be recruited through Imphal, please know that your base location may be transferable to any of our operational crew bases across India as per company requirements.

What You'll Be Doing Day to Day?

This role is far more than serving meals and making announcements. You'll be the face of Akasa Air, responsible for creating a safe, comfortable, and memorable journey for every passenger.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Safety First, Always: You'll strictly follow all standard operating procedures set by the Government, DGCA, and Akasa Air's manuals. Keeping passengers safe is your number one priority, and you'll stay current on all safety regulations, circulars, and notices.
    • Being Our Brand Ambassador: From the moment you step into your uniform to the end of a long-haul layover, you'll present a professional, polished image that reflects our values. Grooming standards matter here, and so does your attitude.
    • Driving Ancillary Revenue: You'll actively engage in inflight sales, confidently presenting products and options to passengers. This isn't just about selling—it's about enhancing the customer experience and helping them discover what Akasa Air has to offer.
    • Exceptional Service Delivery: Whether it's a frequent flyer or someone flying for the first time, you'll ensure service is organized, elegant, and consistent. Special attention goes to guests who need extra care—seniors, unaccompanied minors, parents with infants, and passengers with reduced mobility.
    • Showing You Genuinely Care: We want every passenger to feel seen and valued. Your enthusiasm for customer care should be visible and authentic, creating a warm cabin atmosphere from takeoff to landing.
    • Galley and Stock Management: You'll take detailed handovers, double-checking that all sales stock, pre-booked meals, and catering supplies match the documentation. No detail is too small.
    • Engaging Positively with Passengers: Build good public relations in the cabin by connecting with customers naturally. Be proactive, approachable, and always ready to help.
    • Maintaining On-Time Performance: You'll play your part in ensuring flights depart and arrive as scheduled, understanding that punctuality is key to a great passenger experience.
    • Self-Discipline and Professional Conduct: You'll follow the cabin crew code of conduct closely, always keeping safety, security, and comfort at the center of everything you do.
    • Cabin and Equipment Care: You're responsible for checking, safeguarding, and returning all company equipment and unused catering supplies. Keeping the cabin, galleys, and lavatories clean and tidy throughout the flight is part of your routine.
    • Reporting Issues Immediately: Any discrepancies, non-compliances, or cabin defects will be reported promptly to the Inflight Manager.
    • Making Announcements: When approved, you'll make relevant announcements clearly and warmly, following the announcement book guidelines.
    • Pre-Flight and Post-Flight Duties: You'll complete all assigned duties before takeoff and after landing, ensuring nothing is left unfinished.
    • Sharing Feedback for Improvement: You're encouraged to recommend changes in service delivery, product design, or wastage reduction based on passenger and crew feedback. We value people who take pride in improving processes and finding cost efficiencies.
    • Practicing Effective CRM: You'll coordinate closely with the cockpit crew and other departments like airport services, catering, and security. Going beyond the call of duty to assist your colleagues is part of our culture.
