    What Happens on the Day?

Our Recruitment Day is designed to be transparent, respectful of your time, and genuinely engaging. Here's what you can expect from start to finish:

    • Welcome & Introduction: Our recruitment team will walk you through the everyday reality of being Emirates Cabin Crew—the role, the lifestyle, and life in Dubai. No fluff, just honest insight.
    • Group Activities & Online Test: You'll take part in collaborative exercises that help us see your natural teamwork style, followed by a short digital assessment right at the venue.
    • Final Interview: This is where we get to know you personally—your motivations, your story, and why you believe you'd thrive in our crew.

What Life Looks Like Once You Join?

At Emirates, traveling isn't just part of your job—it becomes your lifestyle. Our concessional travel tickets make it easier than ever to explore new destinations beyond your layovers. Here's a closer look at what you can expect financially and personally:

Your Monthly Salary – Grade II (Economy Class)

Your pay has three parts: a fixed basic salary, hourly flying pay, and overseas meal allowances.

    • Basic salary: AED 4,980 per month
    • Flying pay: AED 69.60 per hour (based on an average of 80–100 hours monthly)
    • Average total monthly pay: Approximately AED 11,244 (around USD 3,061)

*These figures are approximate for Grade II (Economy Class). Meal allowances for night stops are credited the following month. Hotel accommodation and airport transport are provided by the company.

    Travel Benefits

You'll enjoy staff travel benefits on Emirates flights as outlined in our Staff Travel Manual, plus access to travel on other airlines through interline agreements.

    Your Home in Dubai

You'll receive fully furnished accommodation free of charge, with utilities included. You'll share a two- or three-bedroom apartment with colleagues of the same gender—each of you having your own bedroom while sharing the kitchen and living area. In some three-bedroom apartments, two people may share a second bathroom.

Once you've completed your probation, you may request a move to another apartment, subject to availability. For security and due to varying crew rosters, visitors are not permitted past 1:00 AM unless they are also Emirates crew. You may host up to two family members at the same time, twice a year, for a maximum of 30 days per visit.

    Getting Around

Company-provided transport is available to and from work and to the Training College.

    Time Off & Leave Travel

You'll receive 30 calendar days of leave per year, plus one firm free annual leave ticket to your home country. After three years of service, that ticket can be changed to any Emirates destination.

    Health, Insurance, and Your Future

All cabin crew are covered by 24/7 worldwide life insurance and personal accident insurance. Emirates also provides comprehensive medical and dental services at designated Emirates Clinics.

At the end of your contract term, you'll receive a non-contributory End of Service Benefit—a lump sum based on your salary scale.
