    Your Mission: Lead, Guide, and Inspire

    As Cabin Supervisor, you'll ensure that all passenger needs—including services, safety, security, comfort, and wellbeing—are expertly managed by your Cabin Crew team throughout the complete flight cycle. You'll also ensure that all Crew members are ready and fit to fly, in line with set measures and the company's adopted policies and procedures.

    Key Result Responsibilities

    General Conduct

    • Monitor the Cabin Crew's overall performance for the complete cycle of each assigned flight—including licensing, documentation, conduct, performance, and general conditions—ensuring compliance with Civil Aviation Authority regulations and the airline's adopted policies and SOPs
    • Liaise with the line manager, Administrator, Captain, and Dispatch team on all flight details, ensuring Cabin Crew members are well prepared and informed with required information prior to boarding
    • Ensure timely attendance, proper grooming, fitness, and legality of yourself and your Cabin Crew members for each assigned flight
    • Conduct pre-flight briefings to ensure members are aware of flight details, role distribution, targets, safety/security checks, and boarding procedures
    • Coach and guide Cabin Crew on board to ensure better understanding and performance of duties and responsibilities
    • Oversee the welfare of Cabin Crew team members, particularly during layovers in foreign countries
    • Account to the Captain for the conduct of passengers and Cabin Crew as needed

    Safety Measures

    • Monitor Cabin Crew duties and activities on ground and on aircraft to ensure their safety, security, and wellbeing as per prescribed manual procedures
    • Carry out necessary safety, security, fuel, weight, and other checks for the cabin and report 'cabin secure' or 'cabin not secure' at prescribed times
    • Supervise safety procedure instructions given to passengers by Cabin Crew, ensuring they are properly followed to secure passengers' safety and comfort at all times
    • Take prompt remedial action to handle safety and security risks, irregularities, and malfunctions in accordance with SOPs
    • Supervise Cabin Crew members providing first aid to passengers where necessary

    Customer Service

    • Manage all customer services provided in-flight, striving to deliver excellent customer service experiences by ensuring individual passenger requests and needs are timely and adequately addressed
    • Guide and support Crew in handling passengers experiencing stress or difficulties in accordance with relevant policies and procedures
    • Assess situations to interfere and solve problems, raising issues to the Captain when needed
    • Supervise passenger boarding formalities to ensure smooth and safe boarding on each flight
    • Motivate Cabin Crew members to achieve individual and team sales targets and maximize onboard revenue and charity/CSR program participation
    • Ensure proper and secure handling of cash and credit card payments received against sales and donations

    Crosschecking and Reports

    • Supervise and carry out pre-flight safety/security/equipment checks to ensure sufficient fuel and supplies, emergency equipment, catering equipment, and other specified items prior to takeoff
    • Note down any deficiencies identified or reported by Cabin Crew and acknowledge the Captain as appropriate
    • Ensure the aircraft cabin is cleaned thoroughly at transit stations and that adequate re-catering and duty-free products are provided
    • Supervise the orderly and complete handover/takeover of the cabin to/from catering, cleaning, or maintenance staff
    • Report to the Captain any problems or security hazards on flight whenever they arise
    • Maintain necessary professional and safety knowledge by attending recurrent trainings, emergency procedures trainings, and educational workshops
    • Contribute to team effort by ensuring the accomplishment of expected results and the achievement of allocated sales targets and objectives

    Qualifications (Academic, Training, Languages)

    • Intermediate education is mandatory
    • Active cabin crew license is a must
    • Training in First Aid, Safety, and Emergency Procedures are mandatory requirements
    • Fit to fly—has good general health with no serious medical conditions or chronic diseases
    • Very good verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Fluent in English and local languages of the country of employment; additional languages are an advantage

    Work Experience

    • 1-2 years of related working experience as Cabin Crew in any airline, out of which at least 1 year in the capacity of Senior Cabin Crew/Cabin Supervisor; experience with a low-cost airline is a plus
    • Familiar with Civil Aviation regulations pertaining to legality and time limits for Cabin Crew, licensing, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures, Flight Operations, Security, Safety, and Ground Operations Policies and Procedures)
    • Familiar with IATA principles and standards relating to security
