Description
As a Cabin Attendant, you will prioritize passenger comfort and convenience throughout each flight while also contributing to various administrative and training tasks during non-flying periods. You'll receive direct guidance from the Pilot in Command for daily operations and will be responsible for reporting any cabin discrepancies or maintenance issues for documentation.
Your duties will include coordinating with pilots, maintenance, and cleaning crews to ensure the aircraft is impeccably clean and serviced, conducting preflight checks of all cabin equipment, and ensuring passenger compliance with federal regulations during part 91 flights. You'll also be responsible for briefing passengers on safety features, assisting and commanding the cabin in emergency situations, operating emergency equipment, and assisting passengers with cabin management systems, luggage, and seating.
To maintain a high standard of service, you'll need to have a thorough understanding of all service equipment and procedures for your assigned aircraft, maintain a neat and orderly cabin, and coordinate interior items as requested. Additionally, you'll be responsible for planning and preparing meals and beverages, developing and maintaining stock and vendor relationships, ensuring the aircraft is prepared for each flight, and providing necessary paperwork and reports.
Your administrative duties will also involve creating and maintaining aircraft-specific manuals, managing expense accounts, attending required training, and potentially supervising or training other cabin crew members. As a representative of Jet Aviation, you'll be expected to maintain professional relationships with industry groups, regulatory bodies, and the General Dynamics network.
As a VIP Cabin Attendant, your duties will include ensuring passenger safety and comfort, managing all aspects of the cabin, curating exceptional dining experiences, organizing and managing the cabin and galley, and assisting passengers before and after flights.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma. A college degree and previous experience in a similar role are preferred. Four years of experience in a similar role, including at least two years of culinary or high-end food service experience. Additionally, applicants must have completed Flight Safety International or equivalent Corporate Cabin Attendant recurrent training, as well as MedAire Management of Inflight Illness and Injury certification or CPR/AED equivalent.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of the aviation industry. Applicants should also demonstrate an interest and ability in supervising or training others, such as contract flight attendants. Proven project management experience is a valuable asset.
