About the Role
As a Rex Flight Attendant, you’ll take full responsibility for the passenger experience on board, ensuring every journey is safe, comfortable, and memorable. You’ll manage the cabin independently, perform safety and service duties, deliver refreshments, make announcements, and assist passengers with care and confidence. Every day brings a new destination and the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life.
This role offers an excellent work-life balance, competitive pay, and the chance to see more of regional Australia — from tropical coastlines to outback towns. You’ll work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, with occasional overnight stays.

Requirements
To be eligible, you’ll need to:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:
- Completed at least 3 years of secondary schooling in Australia or New Zealand, or
- Worked for at least 3 of the last 5 years in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, or the USA, or
- Achieved an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
- Hold a Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
- Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (issued within the last 3 years).
- Present a professional image and demonstrate a genuine passion for helping others.
- Be no taller than 173 cm.
- Be able to swim unaided while fully clothed (you’ll complete a swim test).
- Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Be eligible for an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) — a security and background check is required.
