Your Mission in the Cabin
As the solo Flight Attendant, you are the face of Rex in the skies. Your diverse responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough pre-flight safety and security checks of all cabin equipment.
- Making clear and welcoming passenger announcements throughout the flight.
- Delivering our in-flight food and beverage service with a personal touch.
- Ensuring the cabin remains tidy and presentable.
- Handling any situation in the cabin calmly and independently, using your initiative and training.
- Upholding the warm, professional service standard that has made Rex award-winning.
What You Bring to the Role?
To embark on this career with us, you will need to meet the following essentials:
- Be aged 18 years or over.
- Hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- Have a height not exceeding 173 cm.
- Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
- Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (issued within the last 3 years).
- Be able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
- Pass a swim assessment, demonstrating the ability to swim fully clothed without assistance.
- Meet our English proficiency requirement through education, work history, or an IELTS score of 5.5 or higher.
Most importantly, we're looking for your demonstrated:
- Obvious passion for the role and a commitment to exceptional customer care.
- Flexibility to work a roster that includes weekends, public holidays, shift work, early starts, late finishes, and some nights away from home.
- A high standard of personal presentation and professionalism.
