Description
The Cabin Crew is responsible for ensuring airline passengers' safety, security, and comfort. The Cabin Crew provides customer service while creating a welcoming environment for passengers before, during, and after each flight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Flight Duties.
- Onboard Duties.
- Ensures that all emergency equipment is present and in working order before takeoff.
- Gives vital professional demonstrations of safety procedures and equipment used before every flight as directed by PIC.
- Possesses the knowledge and confidence to deal effectively with any security/emergencies if they arise.
- Expected to administer first aid to passengers.
- Greets and welcomes passengers on board; must be friendly and approachable.
- Monitors cabin atmosphere and passenger well-being.
- Consistently delivers outstanding customer service and maintains the standard throughout the flight.
- Treats everyone professionally with respect, patience, and understanding.
Requirements
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- HAVO/Secondary school diploma.
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience.
- Possesses excellent customer service skills.
- Has good communication skills and is an attentive listener.
- Physical stamina is essential.
- Possesses decision-making skills.
- Thorough command of the English language (Spanish, Dutch, and French are considered assets).
- Hardworking, with a pleasant and team-oriented personality.
- The desired minimum height is 160 cm, without heels.
- No visible tattoos while in Winair's cabin crew uniform.
- No facial piercings.
- Possesses a certificate of good conduct not older than three months.
- Passes a pre-employment medical done by the company doctor.
- Willing to relocate to St. Maarten, with a minimum of a two (2) year commitment.
