Requirements
The successful candidate must be at least 18 years old and have a height between 163 cm and 183 cm. Applicants must be New Zealand or Australian permanent residents with a passport that allows unrestricted access to all Qantas destinations, with at least 12 months of validity. A current Senior First Aid Certificate with at least 12 months of validity at the time of application is required. Candidates should have a strong commitment to customer service and recent experience in a face-to-face role. Empathy in serving people from different cultures and backgrounds is essential. Applicants must maintain a high level of health and fitness, including the ability to swim 50 meters fully clothed. Crew bases are located in Auckland and Wellington, so candidates should be prepared to be based in either city. Experience in food and beverage service is advantageous, and fluency in additional languages is beneficial.
