Your Role: The Art of In-Flight Excellence
As a Cabin Server with Flexjet, you are far more than a crew member—you are a hospitality professional and a meticulous host. Your primary mission is to anticipate needs and provide discreet, exceptional service that exceeds the expectations of our discerning Owners and guests. From the warm welcome at the aircraft door to the presentation of curated catering and the final farewell, you will ensure every detail is perfected, comfort is paramount, and the journey is flawless.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Creating a welcoming, safe, and supremely comfortable cabin environment for all passengers from boarding through arrival.
- Curating a memorable guest experience through attentive, personalized service and the highest level of responsiveness.
- Expertly preparing and presenting gourmet catering orders, premium beverages, and elegant table settings.
- Conducting cabin readiness and safety preparations for all phases of flight, including landing procedures.
- Maintaining impeccable cabin cleanliness, organization, and inventory of all aircraft supplies and amenities.
- Serving as a key communication link between the passengers and the flight deck, ensuring the Captain is informed of any relevant passenger needs.
- Attending to special requests and providing intuitive service that reflects the standards of a five-star resort.
The Background We Value
We are looking for candidates who bring a foundation of formal training and real-world luxury service experience. The ideal candidate possesses:
- An associate degree or equivalent education, combined with 3-5 years of experience in FAR Part 135 aviation operations.
- At least 2-4 years of high-end customer service experience, ideally within luxury hospitality, fine dining, or corporate aviation.
- A strong foundation in cuisine, food presentation, and culinary knowledge is highly desirable.
- Previous FACTS Training or an equivalent safety and service certification is a significant advantage.
- A proven track record in a corporate or private aviation setting is preferred.
Who You Are: Skills & Disposition
To excel in this role, you are:
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to travel internationally without restriction to all Flexjet destinations.
- A polished communicator with excellent verbal and written skills and a consistently professional, positive demeanor.
- Exceptionally adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment where schedules and passenger needs can change dynamically.
- Meticulously detail-oriented, with the ability to gracefully prioritize multiple tasks under pressure.
- Physically capable of meeting the role's demands, including bending, lifting supplies and catering, and standing or sitting for extended periods.
- Available and committed to a demanding rotating schedule, typically structured as 8 days on/6 days off or 16 variable days per month.
The Realities of the Role: Work Environment & Physicality
This is a rewarding but physically active role within a unique operational environment. You will work directly on aircraft, which involves exposure to variable weather conditions during servicing, aircraft movements, and standard aviation noises. The role requires considerable physical activity, including lifting (up to 30 lbs. for door operation), bending, stocking the aircraft, and maintaining stamina during long duty days.
